Having lived in the Southern Highlands many years ago and returning for a wedding, well it didn't disappoint at all. We were the proud parent and step parent of the groom. Our room was more than enough for us, loved the balcony, thanks for being very accommodating to our needs especially our little fur baby. Can't thank you enough, the wedding for Dan & Em was beautiful thankfully the rain held out until they finished their vows but it didn't hold the celebrations back. Thanks to Helen for being very helpful to us on a few occasions during our stay, most helpful. Having lived in this area and travelling from Newcastle, we wanted to stay the south side of Razorback, only to find no pet friendly stays and Narellan right at the town centre was pet friendly. Bit disappointing really.

We had our wedding here and it was the best experience ever. The venue was stunning, the grounds were well maintained, and very lush. The staff were so helpful, went above and beyond to make sure the day went without a hitch. They answered all our questions in the lead up and had a plan for every outcome. The rooms were spotless. Despite the site being founded in 1836, none of the original building feels worn out, it's all very aesthetic. The "dungeon" is the most unique feature of this venue and it delivers. A low ceiling cellar that gives an intimate club like atmosphere to keep the party going from 10pm onwards without fear of noise restrictions. It was heaving. Macca's run by the staff during this period as well was legendary. 10/10 wedding experience

We hosted our wedding recovery event at the historic Fitzroy Inn and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The setting was stunning and the attention to detail in the furniture setup, food, and drinks was exceptional. Everything was beautifully styled, creating the ideal atmosphere for a relaxed and memorable day. The team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and our guests were full of praise. We couldn’t recommend the Fitzroy Inn highly enough - it was the perfect venue to continue the celebrations in style.

We’ve stayed at the historic Fitzroy Inn previously. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, this stunning piece of history is an absolute treat, and a testament to country hospitality. The fact it is animal/dog friendly has allowed us to take Marlo our Cavoodle away with us for the weekend. Wander the gardens, sit on the verandah at sunset and enjoy a sundowner, or chat with the guests in the conservatory at breakfast; it’s a not-to-be-missed Southern Highlands attraction.

In nearly every respect, this is a lovely place to stay. Beautiful gardens, great breakfast, pleasant staff. But the room (no 11) left a lot to be desired. Firstly, I cracked my head 3 or 4 times on the sloping ceiling. The shower/toilet room was very small. It was necessary to step out into the main room in order to dry oneself. Finally, I would have liked some warning that the room was only accessible via an 19 step narrow staircase. It was very difficult carrying a suitcase up 19 steps. PS: I long for the day that a hotel does not put a 3 blanket doona on the bed instead of a plain blanket.
