We held my partner’s birthday function here recently and it was an incredible experience. We were looked after very well by the staff. The food had reasonable quantity and the tab lasted long enough throughout the night. The vibe here was great for the film noir theme with the red curtains and all the cocktail decor. Thanks again for having us. Would highly recommend for hosting functions!

We have noticed the Bar while ago but never got to get in for some reason and finally two nights ago we decided to give it a go....now regretting we haven't done it much earlier!!! Beautiful, comfortable setting with cool urban vibe, "old fashioned" in the best possible way with "bygone era" interiors, wine glasses that reminded me what my parents use to serve wine to their guest(....and I am almost 60!!!) so all together - very pleasant atmosphere!!!. Service was spotless, quite friendly and natural.... Being a Cocktails bar (and we are wine drinkers) we've expected limited wine options but still found nice drop and enjoyed our night tremendously!!! Also we were surprised with Live Jazz Trio that made it perfect. If I can mention one thing that can be improved - it would be the food. Menu wise and taste/quality as well. I might be nitpicking but reason I am saying that is because Melbourne Wine Bar scene in general is punching sooooo much above their weight that you can say Food quality in most of the Melbourne Wine Bars is as good or even better than in some specialized restaurants! So, you have to keep offering your best because us Melbournians are spoiled for choice!!! We would recommend Bar1806 and will be revisiting again and again for sure!!! Loved it. Jana & Boris

Visited on a Sunday night and told that they couldn’t make any of their signature cocktails - which was the reason for our visit. Reassured by their happy hour and $15 cocktails but they were average at best. Such a gorgeous venue! Such a let down!

A cocktail bar next to majesty’s theatre. Nice place to sit and relax with friends before or after a show. We didn’t try any food, just the drinks. Service was great.

Went on Sunday, a walk in night and was gladly able to Seated, the atmosphere was beyond phenomenal with the jazz playing in the back ground (shoutout to the guy who got bullied for changing the playlist one night and got a bad review) hopefully this review here counters that review. The concept of the cock tails are amazing being a reference to the theatre, tried out various cocktails with the midsummer wedding being the favourite of the night, and the phantom of affair being the second.
