The wife and I were off to see a movie at the Astor Theatre which is nearby and decided to go beforehand to the Balaclava Hotel for an early dinner. We both ordered and had the Tuesday Steak Special which is a 200g grilled rump steak with chips salad and a choice of 4-5 different sauces. Both our steaks were cooked to perfection and delicious with the accompanying chips and salad Great hotel with ample seating and a nice relaxed atmosphere. We recommend it and will be back to try our some of the other dishes on the menu.

Popped in for lunch, staff super friendly and the food arrived in a timely fashion. The food was perfectly cooked and as requested. The Moroccan squid was divine ( had to try as new to the menu). Will come back again.

Passing through and happened to stop by Balaclava Hotel on a Monday night. Luckily, it was Trivia Night, and the atmosphere was fantastic! The place was lively and fun, food was surprisingly affordable and absolutely delicious. Great value for money. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

Fabulous experience having our wedding reception (80 people) at the Balaclava Hotel Rooftop a couple of weeks ago. Staff were so friendly and helpful leading up to and during the evening. It was great to have the option of guests being on the rooftop or inside. The food was amazing and such a fun evening. Plenty of room and lift option for guests who needed. The venue Photo Booth was a great hit too! Definitely recommend for an event or even a meal. Thanks again!

I recently had my 21st birthday at the balaclava hotel on there rooftop area, and it was a blast! The staff were very accommodating and helpful, throughout the whole experience. Lee the event manager was amazing to communicate with and was very helpful! The number 1 comment that I received from my family and friends was how GOOD the food was!
