Great pub to do cool activities, shuffle board and darts being our favourite. The Manager was nice and tried to be very accommodating and explained different games well. When we arrived the power had been out so we couldn't order food or play games, we decided to go to Lygon St (just around the corner, walking distance) for dinner and come back. When we came back, again we couldn't play any games and the girl couldn't tell us how long until we could, and help us to know we had been placed in a queue to play, she just said to have a drink and come back and see. I really would like to see this system improved maybe a buzzer system given to us to know when it was our turn. We couldn't play anything upstairs as they had a private function on, so we couldn't play ball pit ping pong. There was only 1 billiard table downstairs so we didnt get to play that. We had a drink, only 1 barman on a Sat night and making cocktails so there was a bit of await. I went back to see if we could play shuffe board as 2 were empty, she said no she had others ahead of us first. I went back 15 mins later and spoke to Manager saying shuffle board was still free and he said we could play. The different games for shuffle board were really fun, we paid for 1/2hr, next time we will pay for an hour but since we had dinner in Lygon St we had smashed our finances for the night. I told the Manager being short we found it hard to get puc's back between each turn and would be great to have a stick to use. We also said it was slippery where you stand for shuffle board with sand on floor, he said there should be a mat there and went and got one but didn't put mat on table next to us. I'd suggest they make sure these are put out before people play so no accidents happen. The different darts games were great too, again next time we would pay for 1hr as 1/2hr goes too quick. Great venue just needs to have better organisation and maybe do all bookings online with time slots to keep too and no option on games to keep playing unless no bookings afterwards.

The Mog Champ sends his regards. It's a fun place to have group activities with all those various games they have here. I've been to the Ballers inside the CBD and would prefer that one as it's both larger and more organised. Enjoyed a game of darts, ping pong and pool. Today I had the privilege of coming into ballers clubhouse in Carlton. At first, I was a little spectacle as I had attended the one in the cbd and it had met my expectations. From the moment I walked into ballers clubhouse in Carlton, I was greeted by two fantastic staff Ella and Izzy. Their customer service was absolutely exceptional and they ensured my entire time at the venue was comfortable. Thank you for your great service. A lovely atmosphere and ambience. Will visit again.

Carys was absolutely outstanding, I honestly thought she owned and managed the joint! We booked for a men’s church choir outing (bucks party) and it was 17 x better than I expected heaven to be. So many fun games to choose from and just amazing service from the hosts and bartenders. Thanks so much for having us!

My partner bought us a valentines package that included 3 time scheduled games. Upon arrival, we were told that our last game was running slightly behind schedule and there was a possibility of having to wait 10+ minutes. That’s fine - we’re happy to wait. As soon as we started our first game, we realised the staff weren’t really aware of the valentines package and were confused where to put us. Once we got to our last game, the ping pong ball pit, it was actually empty and we set up maybe 5 minutes pass the allocated time. (Each game goes for 30 minutes). After 10-15 minutes of playing ping pong, we were approached by a member of staff with two other patrons, accusing us of not having a booking for this area. Even after showing her our booking for this game, we were told to leave. Embarrassing!! Ping pong was the game I was most excited for and we were not offered another game as all the tables were “booked”. Interesting that our booking meant less than everyone else’s. Disappointing.
