Great pub to do cool activities, shuffle board and darts being our favourite. The Manager was nice and tried to be very accommodating and explained different games well. When we arrived the power had been out so we couldn't order food or play games, we decided to go to Lygon St (just around the corner, walking distance) for dinner and come back. When we came back, again we couldn't play any games and the girl couldn't tell us how long until we could, and help us to know we had been placed in a queue to play, she just said to have a drink and come back and see. I really would like to see this system improved maybe a buzzer system given to us to know when it was our turn. We couldn't play anything upstairs as they had a private function on, so we couldn't play ball pit ping pong. There was only 1 billiard table downstairs so we didnt get to play that. We had a drink, only 1 barman on a Sat night and making cocktails so there was a bit of await. I went back to see if we could play shuffe board as 2 were empty, she said no she had others ahead of us first. I went back 15 mins later and spoke to Manager saying shuffle board was still free and he said we could play. The different games for shuffle board were really fun, we paid for 1/2hr, next time we will pay for an hour but since we had dinner in Lygon St we had smashed our finances for the night. I told the Manager being short we found it hard to get puc's back between each turn and would be great to have a stick to use. We also said it was slippery where you stand for shuffle board with sand on floor, he said there should be a mat there and went and got one but didn't put mat on table next to us. I'd suggest they make sure these are put out before people play so no accidents happen. The different darts games were great too, again next time we would pay for 1hr as 1/2hr goes too quick. Great venue just needs to have better organisation and maybe do all bookings online with time slots to keep too and no option on games to keep playing unless no bookings afterwards.

The Mog Champ sends his regards. It's a fun place to have group activities with all those various games they have here. I've been to the Ballers inside the CBD and would prefer that one as it's both larger and more organised. Enjoyed a game of darts, ping pong and pool. What a Fun Evening it was . Loved loved loved the ambience , the vibe , the interior , the decor , the variety of the games ,the service , everything top notch . Had the best kind of date after such a long time . Can't wait to take our friends out there too . Perfect for a friends day out , team outing or date night .

I booked Ballers for an event as they have an excellent range of non-alcoholic drinks. It is also a good place for a cheap event if you don't mind hanging out in a common area. I booked shuffleboard for an hour and extended it to 2hrs. The shuffleboard had multiple modes to pick from, and the computer tracked scoring for us. During the Friday happy hour, pizzas are $7 and decently-sized which is a cheap and feed for the whole crowd. (1 pizza can feed 2 people.) The happy hour drinks include spirits as well as the usual beer and wine that other places would offer on discount. Both the pizzas and drinks were top-quality and delicious despite what the low price may suggest. Staff were attentive and extremely helpful. They kept tabs on your group of you ordered food and they needed to bring it to you. But do give them a heads up if you move far from your original place in the venue.

Absolutely appalling experience at Ballers Clubhouse. I’m beyond frustrated with how inconsistent and unfair their management is. For months, they had no issue letting us in for summer bottomless drinks even when we arrived just 5 minutes before, despite their supposed “30 minutes early” policy. Suddenly, with no warning or explanation, they decided to strictly enforce it and denied us entry altogether. This isn’t about rules, it’s about inconsistency and poor customer treatment. You can’t selectively enforce policies depending on the day or your mood. If that’s the standard, communicate it clearly and stick to it. Instead, we were left standing there, confused and embarrassed, after being treated completely differently every other time. It honestly feels like they don’t value returning customers at all. There was no effort to accommodate, no apology, just a cold “no” and that was it. For a place that relies on repeat business, this kind of attitude is unacceptable. Would not recommend if you expect fairness or even basic customer service.
