The Catholic Leadership Centre is a world-class conference and learning facility designed to support Catholic education and key agencies through professional learning programs and executive courses. Conveniently located in the heart of East Melbourne, the Centre offers purpose-built learning spaces tailored for contemporary adult education, all supported by the latest in conferencing and digital technology.

Main reception is accessible via 576 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne, placing the Centre within easy reach of Melbourne’s CBD and public transport. The Centre’s facilities are designed to accommodate a wide range of events including professional learning programs, workshops, seminars, and residential retreats.

The venue features two large halls with capacities of 120 and 500 people respectively, along with nine flexible teaching and workshop studios that can host groups ranging from 15 to 60 participants. For residential programs, there are 45 well-appointed accommodation units, each with private ensuite facilities. Breakout and resource spaces provide attendees with quiet recreation areas for informal gatherings or reflection. Event configurations are highly flexible and can be tailored to suit individual program needs.

The Centre also boasts comprehensive kitchen and dining facilities, capable of accommodating up to 400 guests. A variety of catering packages are available, including drinks and nibbles for casual gatherings, gourmet platters for cocktail-style events, buffet and BBQ options, and full-service formal dining with two or three-course meals. Custom menus can also be arranged to suit the specific requirements of each event.

Technology is a key feature of the Catholic Leadership Centre. All learning spaces are equipped with cutting-edge digital, audio-visual, and conferencing infrastructure, aligning with the Centre’s vision to be a showcase for best practice in ICT-enabled teaching and learning. Features include wall-mounted touch screens, digital media players, LCD displays, mobile interactive whiteboards, and full video conferencing capabilities, including Telepresence. Automated lighting and environmental controls enhance comfort, while site-wide wireless internet ensures seamless connectivity for all participants.  The Catholic Leadership  Centre is designed to provide flexible spaces and contemporary state of the art facilities capable for the  deliver a range of professional learning programs, workshops, seminars and functions.

The Centre has a campus design that has incorporated and repurposed existing heritage buildings and several new buildings to form a secure campus perimeter for event participants and overnight accommodation guests. The landscape design provides traffic noise suppression and different spaces for events, functions or quite reflection.

Great venue for conference days or events. Train to North Richmond and then short walk to the venue. You can stay overnight if the conference runs over a few days. CLC has accommodation. Accommodation is clean and good quality. Parking at Tribeca in Albert St has early bird parking. It’s About a 10 minute walk to the Leadership Centre.

Service is great, food was okay, I think I just ordered something I wasn't expecting and it is noisy because the building design echoes. Maybe some soft furnishings would dampen the sound and brighten the place up a bit. Room to grow into a great little venue.
