Duke of Edinburgh Hotel is an iconic hotel, located on Sydney Road in Brunswick, that was built back in 1868. The building’s exterior remains the same while the inside has undergone renovations with an open plan bistro and sports bar, as well as a large upstairs function room.
Whether you are celebrating a birthday, engagement party, wedding, celebration of life, conference or corporate events we ensure a seamless experience with a perfect setting in our recently renovated function room.
The function space is private and comes equipped with an exclusive bar, dance floor, outdoor area with heating and tv, as well as audiovisual equipment, projector and TV’s.

🌟 Big Space, Bigger Vibes! The Good Stuff: -.Room to Breathe: The venue is super spacious—no awkward squeezing past tables or playing bumper cars with strangers here. - Elite Tier Staff: The service was absolutely amazing. The staff were genuinely lovely and made us feel right at home. The Parking Situation (Pro-Tip): We ended up parking on the street and getting a little accidental cardio in on the walk over. But plot twist: they actually have parking hidden right behind the venue! Keep that in mind so you can skip the trek next time. Would absolutely head back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had the Lamb shank and extra mash ($39). The lamb was fat, as shown in picture 1, the oil they used was cheap and nasty, mash with meal was swimming in horrible oily sauce. Lucky I ordered the tiny extra mash. I don't mind paying extra but as long as it is good. Do yourself a favour 'Don't go'. Staff friendly. Have to add manager refunded our meals, 🙏🏻really friendly, totally understood in a very professional manner. Will come back but won't have the Lamb 🐑

I always stop at The Duke for lunch when I'm back in Melbourne.The lunch specials are fantastic value for money, and the portions are huge. Plus, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great, full of interesting local characters.
