Reviews for Hotel Indigo Melbourne Little Collins

Hotel Indigo opened its doors in September 2025 and is a hidden gem in the heart of Melbourne CBD. This boutique hotel, has access points from both Little Collins and Bourke Street and when it comes to convenience, you really can't do better. The hotel itself is bright, modern and welcoming as too are the rooms. Given the price point of the hotel (we booked a couple of months out and got the room for around $260), we were really impressed by the room size, design and interior. The mattress and pillows were on the softer side, but it didn't impact having a good night sleep. The hotel offers some great spaces to dine in at Fern and the outdoor patio which is open throughout the day and night. The staff were so helpful and welcoming and made out stay really easy. We left knowing that we would return. And as a little personal side note for those beauty enthusiasts out there, it would be remiss of me not to mention in this review...MECCA!!! Not only is there an entrance to Mecca directly across from the hotel entrance, but you can see the champagne bar from Fern. My husband was happily seated at the restaurant, while I went perusing three floors of beauty heaven. It was bliss :)

I had such a lovely stay at Hotel Indigo Melbourne on Little Collins. We checked in during Lunar New Year and the experience was extra special. Ethan at reception was absolutely amazing — so welcoming, kind, and genuinely attentive. He made us feel truly recognised and valued as guests. Receiving a red pocket for Lunar New Year was such a thoughtful touch. It made us feel celebrated and appreciated, not just like another booking. Small gestures like this really make a difference. Thank you, Ethan, for your outstanding service and for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Directly across for the King Pin sign! Quite hard to find but a good new hotel once you know where to enter. Really disappointed with the breakfast staff and system Tuesday morning. Breakfast states it finishes at 10:30 during weekdays but staff stated last call for the kitchen was at 10am. All patrons should have access to the same experience no matter the time they are dining. There were many people that came down between 10-10:30 but staff were packing up the buffet and the kitchen was closed. Staff rolled their eyes and snarled between each other, especially June who seemed to be running the pass. It was very strange to have the lunch and dining tables set up around you as you were trying to eat and enjoy the morning. Lots of clattering from wine glasses and silverware. Would have loved to experience what all the other reviews stated and I would suggest extending out the Breakfast service to 11 all days, and adding that the kitchen closes at 10:30 onto the website. Chethena was lovely and showed us amazing hospitality. An exception to the experience above. The rooms are truly very nice and it’s obviously a very new establishment, hopefully the bumps round out over the next couple of months. Would love to see some explore Melbourne books or information for International guests! Definitely will be visiting again and hopefully adjusting the review in the future! Best of luck, Indigo, lovely to see some more affordable options in the inner city!

If I could give more than 5 stars for everything I would. The location of the hotel is very central and convenient to cafes and trams. The food at the restaurant inside the hotel is also delicious. Would recommend the the beef cheek. The service is impeccable and there isn't a thing I can fault. From checking in to out and anything else required, the staff is very professional, efficient and accommodating. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel for your next Melbourne visit.

Great little place to stay/base yourself for the Australian Open of a Melbourne City centric holiday A little bit tricky to find (enter from the arcade directly opposite the Birkenstock shop in Little Collins St). Staff are extremely warm welcoming and helpful. The rooms are cool, with really good bathroom/shower area. Breaky options are really good
