Our recently renovated levels seamlessly integrate modern minimalist furnishings, from bursts of warm terracotta and beige hues with textured tones to white pebble flooring on the rooftop and exposed brick features.
Hotel Nacional's concept allows for an easy flow of movement with the ground floor seating up to 50 guests, level one Dining Room catering up to 80 guests and the main rooftop catering up to 85 guests standing.
Complimenting this is our 30 person rooftop mezzanine, which showcases an exclusive open-air bar with unobstructed city views that is the perfect destination to end the evening.
Please note, our venue does not have a lift. Only the footpath and ground level restaurant seating are wheelchair accessible.

I have been here twice within the last few weeks to give you guys benefit of a doubt. The food is beautifully presented and flavours are great, but the service is beyond shocking…lack of personality, attention to details, friendliness and basic customer and hospitality service skills. You actually have to tell the staff you are ready to order. I know I won’t be back again. Who ever is „managing/ leading” the staff needs to step up, as no doubt you will become just some average place on Hardware Lane, and there are more than few already!

Visited for the rooftop, did not realise there were five flights of stairs! Definitely needed the cocktail upon reaching the top. A fun atmosphere and delicious drinks. We enjoyed guac and chips before moving downstairs to experience the full dinner menu. The fries and beef tacos were yummy but the empanadas were quite flavourless. The steak lacked seasoning and had not been adequately rested, as you can see it bled all over the plate. Overall, ambiance was well worth a visit for a beverage but the food was a little hit and miss

Delicious. We had the Birria tacos which so far the best I have had. The fries were delicious with the seasoning salt and I love a good aioli. The chicken meat balls were a bit dry/tough I would get something else next time instead. Good cocktails and lovely servers. Just wish the car park wasn’t most of the view from the floor level. Thanks for having us 😁

Not the greatest Mexican food. Definitely better options out there in Melbourne . It was fine for a quick catch up with mates. Easy to find a table because this venue has multiple floors.
