Had an amazing experience at Hotel Nacional! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was incredible — rooftop views, vibrant energy, and a fun disco-ball vibe that made the whole place feel special. The food was just as impressive. The Birria Braised Beef Tacos were packed with flavour, the Corn Ribs were a standout, and the Grilled Barramundi was cooked perfectly. The 300g Scotch Fillet was tender and satisfying, while the Mexican Fries made the perfect side. We finished with the Coconut Lime Panna Cotta, which was light, refreshing, and the ideal way to end the meal. The mocktails were equally delicious, with the Nah-Garita and Peachy Keen both being excellent choices. What really makes Hotel Nacional stand out is how seamlessly it transitions from a great dinner spot into a lively night out. The rooftop atmosphere, city views, food, drinks, and service all came together to create a fantastic experience. Highly recommend for a date night, special occasion, or a fun night with friends. We'll definitely be back!

Had so much fun indulging in the bottomless margaritas on Sunday for the midday session!! It is so beautiful inside and great vibes from the staff and atmosphere. When it started raining they closed the roof and when the rain stopped they opened it back up so we could enjoy the sunshine! The food was also absolutely delicious!! Such a good value for money!!

Hotel Nacional is a solid spot for Mexican food in the city. The menu is fully gluten-free, which is great if you have dietary requirements, but it still feels like a normal dining experience. The food is generally tasty with good flavours, especially the tacos and share plates. The rooftop bar is a nice touch too — good for drinks and a relaxed vibe.

Absolutely Love this place. Will 109% be back. As someone with allergies including egg and gluten this place was amazing catering wise. Everything was delish and not long of a waiting time at all. Service was perfect and you never felt like you had to ask for anything. Such a nice space and it’s definitely worth a try.

Fantastic meal and service here. We enjoyed a meal downstairs in the restaurant where Kathy looked after us so well. It had a lovely hustle and bustle feel to the street. After the food we moved up to their rooftop which was a brilliant hidden gem 💎
