Reviews for Luna Park Melbourne
A
We had an amazing time at Luna Park! We visited on a weekday, so the queues were relatively short and we were able to enjoy almost all the rides without spending too much time waiting. What I liked most was the variety of attractions. There’s something for everyone, from gentle kiddie rides to thrilling, adrenaline-pumping ones. We ended up spending the whole day there and even rode some of our favorites more than once. The only downside was that the roller coaster closed earlier than expected because of the weather, which was a bit disappointing. There are also plenty of great photo spots throughout the park, along with lots of benches and rest areas if you just want to sit back, relax, and soak in the atmosphere. Overall, it’s a fun destination for both families and thrill-seekers alike.

Many things to do here, we were lucky enough to combine it with beautiful weather which encouraged us to explore the beach afterwards. Very kid friendly especially for kids aged under 10 where adrenaline can be daunting. Roller coaster was worth the 30mins wait with amazing views of the bay and an unforgettable noisy/clunky ride. This place is over 100 years old and still putting smiles on people's faces. When I was 6, I was here with my parents and now lucky enough to give my 6 year old the same experience. Never leave us 🙏

Everyone raved about this place... but have they been to an actual theme park??? It was reslly intended for young teens with nothing else to do. The rides were cramped and made for much smaller people and not very daring. A few made my stomach lurch. Food was good.

We came on a Saturday as it was shut Friday. Rides didn’t go for long and queued for over 40 minutes for the roller coaster. Another ride we wanted to go on wasn’t taking passengers. Staff seemed very robotic and not very inviting. Photo Booth quality was very old and none of our photos were captured on the rides when we went to purchase. Food options limited. Was glad to visit but wouldn’t go again. Definitely more suited to younger children. Architecture was cool.

Really have to make it half or a full day here given cost of entry. We just wanted the one ride on the scenic railway but would have cost a small fortune for only one ride - a shame. We ended up buying tickets for a few rides that we were not that fussed about. Probably good value if purchasing the unlimited rides option but it’s not for everyone. The railway ride is a must and amazing it’s still operating! So cool. Beautiful location and great place though with a bit of history to its story.
