My husband and I were recently married at the Melbourne Room, MelbourneTown Hall. We can’t thank the team enough for making our day so special! The room was just incredible! With all it's history, much to my husbands delight, The Beatles were even part of this. The ornate timber carvings throughout the room were so impressive! Spectacular venue for an intimate wedding, highly recommend.

The epicure manager I dealt with was very rude and obnoxious. An all round very unpleasant experience.
Main Hall is one of Melbourne Town Hall’s most impressive and glamorous event spaces: the perfect home for a gala fundraiser or opulent dinner.
Imagine guest arrival through the gleaming marble foyer, with beautiful stained glass windows, indulging in canapes and arrival drinks before heading into Melbourne’s finest auditorium.
Sweeping 70 foot ceilings allow for an upper floor with fixed seating for 800 guests. This area can either be utilized for additional attendees, or dimmed to ensure the focus remains the awe inspiring chandeliers.
A lift directly into the Main Hall, allows for easy bump in of vehicles, and large product displays or activations.
Beneath an intricately designed glowing lighting dome, Swanston Hall boasts timber panelling, and rich green tones exuding opulence and finesse.
This stunning art deco venue, is the only venue on the Ground Floor. A sizable mezzanine is available for registration, predinner drinks and conference catering.
This special event space is directly accessible through a dedicated entrance on Swanston Walk.
