We’ve stayed in their apartment for 2 nights and it was really a delightful experience. Mark was very kind during our check-in and the process was smooth when we wanted to extend our stay. They’ve got everything you need and the room is really clean. The view is nice too especially at night. Very spacious as well for 2 people and a baby. We went to their breakfast buffet and it was really good with a variety of choices. The staff were really nice especially Grace. Although the location is a bit far away from the city, there are bus and tram stops which is about a 5-minute walk, if you are using public transpo. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Oakwood and would definitely book again should we decided to stay again in Melbourne for a getaway.

We stayed here for 3 nights for our anniversary. They did a little bit of extra stuff which made our stay even more special! Very clean and environmentally friendly place. I love how much they value sustainability. The refillable bathroom amenities are so good. It is also walking distance to DFO and CBD. Shoutout to the housekeeping team for doing such an amazing job servicing our room. Thank you to the amazing front desk team who goes above and beyond to cater us with our needs. I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough! We will definitely come back and stay here again!

Whether it was sunrise spilling over the horizon or the city lights sparkling at night, every moment felt picture‑perfect. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and positioned perfectly to make the most of the scenery. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the stay memorable. From check‑in to check‑out, everything felt seamless and welcoming. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning my next visit. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, exceptional service, and unforgettable views, this hotel is an absolute gem. Highly recommended.

It’s our first time visiting this hotel, and the only thing that’s good about this hotel is the view. Rooms – very small for a 5-star hotel. Parking – there’s literally no parking available at this hotel. They asked us to park at DFO, which cost us $30. Wind – when there’s too much wind, the windows make a lot of noise. It’s like the wind is just about to break the windows. When I complained about it, the reception said they can’t do anything about it. It kept us awake at night. Breakfast – the breakfast is continental.. they have bare minimum menu. If you’re paying extra for this breakfast ..just forget about it. Overall, I’m very confused about how this is rated as a top hotel. The views are amazing though. We have taken an Executive Studio… I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and won’t be staying again.

This is a very good place to go! Once you come in you get checked out quite fast and get to the room. The room is very fancy and have your own message start showing on the tv with the title of your full name! Very good and fast staff to give you things. Location is amazing. 🤩 Once we walked into our room we had a big window with a beautiful view and had a great time there 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
