Reviews for SEA LIFE Melbourne

Sea Life is well worth a visit. It has many interesting displays with huge tanks containing a variety of fish, rays, and several species of shark. I loved seeing the shark egg cases which were present in several tanks. This is also the only aquarium in the world that successfully breeds sea horses and sea dragons. I learned so much here. I would recommend a visit for anyone.

What an absolutely wonderful day, The Aquarium has catered for everyone children and wheelchair friendly. Special kids areas, Perfect for a break while parents / Carers catch their breath, Interactive experiences and activities. And for the more adventurous penguin experience, Glass bottom boat and dive with the sharks and rays...Cannot say enough about the beautiful staff, friendly, engaging and helpful. Everything was clean and clear to navigate around. Money well spent.

We've been members here for years and totally love it. They've renovated, especially with a cool new section where you can check out native marine life like biscuit starfish and spider crabs, and explore the rocky shore. The interactive rockpool is awesome for all ages, and their staff are super helpful, explaining all the species. One young Asian guy, I didn't catch his name, was amazing – he'd notice us looking at something and then drop extra facts. My toddler was hooked and learned so much from him! We went on a Friday around lunchtime. This place always delivers with spot talks all day long. We ended up staying over four hours. If you're coming from far, they have designated parking for a discount, but definitely check their website first. This time, we parked across at Crown Multi Parking and only paid $15 since we arrived before lunch and left around 4 pm. Their membership is worth buying especially if you have a little and wants to come for few hours. I highly recommend.

It was ok, maybe were just spoilt other similar places around the word are way better. I really wanted to give it 3.5 but that wastnt an option. I went with my 15 year old daughter and we went as slow as we could and were in and out in under 2 hours. The exhibits were pretty good but there was a lot a areas with nothing. You also couldn't really do multiple laps more like a one way system. It was also very tired and in need of a huge update. So areas were unique and very enjoyable like jelly fish section. The crocodile pen was closed which we were unaware of. I does get really busy, I don't think it's worth queueing up for long unless you've neve been to an aquarium before. It's also on the expensive side for what there is. Perth Aqua which I think is better is about $20 cheaper. The only good thing is kids age is 15 which is very fair.

SEA LIFE Melbourne is my child’s absolute favourite place, and we have already visited four times. No matter how many times we come back, the experience is always exciting and enjoyable. My child is always amazed by the colourful fish, sharks, penguins, and the interactive exhibits throughout the aquarium. The venue is clean, well-organised, and very family-friendly, making it easy and comfortable to explore with children. The exhibits are not only entertaining but also educational, allowing kids to learn about marine life in a fun and engaging way. There is always something interesting to see, and we never feel rushed during our visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming for families. It’s a perfect place for children to learn, explore, and create memorable experiences. My child never gets bored here and always asks to come back again. SEA LIFE Melbourne is truly a wonderful place for families, and I highly recommend it to anyone with children. We will definitely continue coming back in the future.
