Overlook the spherical glow of Port Phillip Bay in this sky-high space. Suited for more intimate events and finished with a statement illuminated marble bar.

The view over the city is absolutely fantastic and easily one of the highlights of the night, and the cocktails were very well made. The food itself was amazing, but the portion sizes didn’t match the price point, especially when sharing a few plates between two, as we were left still feeling hungry. Service was the biggest letdown, we had to call staff over to order food and drinks rather than being checked on, which made the experience feel quite inattentive. It’s a great place for a drink and to enjoy the view, but the dining experience itself was disappointing for the price and service level expected.
Food was tasty, but definitely overpriced for the portion sizes. The serves were very small and there weren’t many halal options available. We also paid an extra $50 for a “window seat”, but after looking around, almost every table seemed to be by the window, which felt a bit misleading. One lovely touch was the complimentary anniversary plate and little cake, which was appreciated and made the night feel special. It’s probably nice for a date night or anniversary dinner to try once, but personally I wouldn’t return.
An amazing view and a memorable setting. The food was good overall, though a couple of dishes felt slightly overcomplicated. Scallops, in particular, are at their best when kept simple and allowed to speak for themselves. The duck with five spice leaned heavily toward Middle Eastern/Indian flavours, which somewhat overshadowed the quality of the produce. A lighter touch on seasoning would allow the ingredients to shine. Service was attentive in some areas but inconsistent in others. These were only minor points, but with a bit more polish the overall dining experience could be elevated further. The 20% discount for guests of Oakwood Premier is excellent and a strong incentive to dine here. Overall, a very enjoyable experience with a few areas that could easily move it from good to exceptional.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved the vibe at Strato. We went for a sunset dinner, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. Watching the sun set while enjoying dinner was a highlight — on one side you have stunning views overlooking Port Phillip, and on the other, the city skyline. The views alone make it worth the visit. The food was wonderful. We ordered premium steak and chicken, and everything came out beautifully prepared and presented. The portions were surprisingly filling and definitely satisfying — we left feeling well fed and very happy. There were four of us dining, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We’d heard a lot about Strato and really wanted to experience the atmosphere for ourselves, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The overall vibe was elegant yet relaxed, making it a great spot for a special occasion or a memorable night out. After dinner, we went across to the bar area, which features floor-to-ceiling windows offering a perfect, uninterrupted view of the city skyline — an incredible way to finish the evening. I highly recommend booking in advance, as it’s a very popular place and fills up quickly. We Ubered there, so I’m not sure what parking is like, but aside from that, everything about the experience was fantastic. Definitely a must-try, and we’ll absolutely be back for another great experience.
Absolutely loving my stay at Oakwood Premier. Such a high-class experience from the moment we arrived. The staff were so accommodating, friendly and attentive, making everything feel effortless. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service, and the drinks just kept flowing. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a luxurious and relaxing stay!
