We’ve visited Carlton Club a couple of times now with Melbourne Working Holiday Girls as part of our bar crawls and they’ve been incredible every time. From the door staff to the bar staff, everyone is so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely accommodating – especially with large groups. The atmosphere is always spot on and it makes for such an easy, fun stop on the crawl. The team really knows how to look after people, which makes organising group events so much smoother. Highly recommend Carlton Club as a bar crawl stop in the city.

A place to party or to just sit and chill in the rooftop. It has accommodation for different age groups. I did enjoy sitting at the lower patio and swaying to the music. If you want to dance then do walk towards the dance floor for some jiggy! I do think they should have more restrooms instead of the current tiny ones.

Whether you’re looking for an intimate meal, a relaxing drink, or a late night party, you should check this place out - it’s brilliant! The decor is cosy and romantic, with dim lighting and plenty of red, surrounding the taxidermy and large giraffe coming from the walls! It certainly gives plenty to admire while sat in one of the booths or many standard tables around the bar. All the staff are really friendly and even when it’s busy service for drinks is quick. I decided to check out the restaurant in the evening and was very impressed. There’s not many tables which allows the staff to be super attentive. With the portion sizes it was also really good value - the garlic prawn starter was served sizzling hot and had so many prawns, and the barramundi main was huge, with so many chips! There certainly wasn’t a need for desert here! Everything was super tasty too and even the wine options were reasonable. As a late night club it remains a really enjoyable venue - great music with the DJ, fast bar service with good prices and open into the very early hours. It was one of my favourite spots in the city centre and I will be returning again.

The DJs here were fantastic!! Good mixture of 90s to the latest trends. We had a blast here at the Carlton for a good 2 hours. The drinks are great but the service is ok. Maybe it’s because it was Saturday night, they were packed!!! Hope next visit will be better.

Good vibe and atmosphere 😊😊😊 DJ was the best. They were full of energy and did their best, a combination of old and new music. Also, you can go upstairs, with different spaces. The security guys were aware of their surroundings. I love the terrace and the giraffe on the back of the terrace's wall. I reckon, it is the best free entrance bar. I haven't tried the food here, so I have no ideas about it. But, I have been there several times and enjoyed it a lot. Highly recommended. Definitely, go there with your mates and loved ones and have fun 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
