We had our Lunch there. The salads were excellent the prices were affordable and the drinks selection was notable. When hot better to sit inside. The curtains hold heat in at the outside alfresco area

Nice venue, nice staff, very close to Convention and Exhibition Centre and Polly Woodside, quiet, nice outside bit with clear blinds to have water view. We had steak which was nice but chips were cold and mushroom sauce was runny, we also had steak sandwich, was ok but Ive had better and chips were cold.

Very nice setting at the Yarra river. Only had a beer so cannot say anything about the food just yet. The online ordering system to the table seemed quite effective. Only minor issue was one of the guests feeding fries to seaguls, of course not the restaurants fault. It is just that they will eventually start taking food of the tables if fed. Overall a good experience - recommended.

Had a lovely experience at General Assembly by the Yarra River! 🌟 The ambience is just perfect — relaxed, lively, and with such a great riverside vibe. Their mushroom croquettes were an absolute standout, crispy outside and full of flavour inside. We also tried their Monday special $20 chicken burgers, which were hearty and delicious, great value for the quality. To top it off, the rhubarb mocktail was refreshing and perfectly balanced. A fantastic spot for both food and atmosphere — highly recommend!
Thirsty Herb
It’s a great venue, fantastic location, river views and a very handy meeting place if you are going to Jeff’s Shed. Good range of tap beer and they often have live acoustic music out the front. The only let down and sadly it the same for all these venues along the waterfront is the food. Most are managed by the same group, all the food is the same standard. Doable, but not great.
