Our stay at The Langham Melbourne was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by the wonderful bell team and staff, who made us feel like valued guests from the very beginning. The room was absolutely stunning, elegant, immaculately clean, and beautifully appointed. The bedding was unbelievably comfortable, making for one of the best night's sleeps we've had in a hotel. The evening turndown service was such a thoughtful touch and really added to the luxury experience. The food was delicious, and every interaction with the staff reflected true five-star service. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every detail was executed flawlessly. We honestly haven't stopped talking about our stay with family and friends since returning home. It was an unforgettable experience, and we can confidently say The Langham will be our hotel of choice every time we visit Melbourne. We would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and impeccable service. A truly faultless experience, we can't wait to come back!

This hotel has a lot going for it. It has a great location and great views of the city skyline, some great staff, including the concierge team who helped me out a lot with dinner and activity recommendations prior to my arrival, and a great well stocked gym. That said, I had a bad feeling when I walked in and after one night checked out and moved to another hotel. The main reason is that the hotel and its facilities are incredible dated. Like seriously, you'll see the pictures, but all the furniture in the room was worn and cheap feeling. I will say that I slept well. Carpeting throughout was a time warp. It felt like I was in a hotel that was at its prime in the 90s. The much vaunted breakfast at Melba was not great. Huge line to get in, overwhelmed staff, and took 20 minutes from when I sat down to receiving my first coffee. Since I had paid for club access I had hoped and assumed they would have breakfast, but not on Friday apparently. Maybe I just had an off experience, but the dated decor just didn't do it. Staff were accommodating and friendly and waived my fees when I left. Overall, great location but this hotel needs a full refresh yo be competitive.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Langham Melbourne and will definitely stay again. The hotel has so much character and a wonderful sense of classic old-world luxury and elegance. Our corner room on the 16th floor had beautiful views over the river and was spacious and beautifully furnished, with traditional timber furniture, an elegant writing desk and a gorgeous marble bathroom. The bed was honestly one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever slept in! We also appreciated the large-screen TV, being able to connect our Fire TV Stick, and the excellent Wi-Fi. Room service was very quick and the food was delicious. We ordered a pizza and the tomato melody salad and thoroughly enjoyed both. What really made our stay memorable, though, were the lovely personal touches. When we arrived, the concierge looked incredibly smart in his traditional suit and black hat, complete with a rose in his pocket. I complimented him on how beautifully dressed he was and he immediately offered me his rose! As we were heading out for a walk, he kindly said he would leave it in our room for me. It was such a charming and thoughtful gesture and perfectly captured the warm, old-world hospitality of the hotel. The location was also excellent, with the river and plenty of restaurants, pubs and shopping all just a short walk away. A beautiful hotel with character, elegance, comfort and wonderful service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Five stars from us!

My girlfriend and I stayed at The Langham Melbourne for our anniversary and I can undoubtedly say this is the best hotel in Melbourne. All the staff here are friendly and considerate, and put in extra effort to make your stay more memorable. This was exemplified with the Happy Anniversary cupcake that was left in our room after we had only mentioned the occasion once to the staff member who checked us in. The rooms were spotless and in excellent condition, there were endless movie choices for only $10 add on. Our room service was prompt and up to an excellent standard. Finally, the buffet breakfast was outstanding. There are options for anyone, including a make your own juice station, hot and cold food, pastries and freshly made omelettes and poached eggs. I couldn’t recommend a stay here more highly!

My experience with The Langham Melbourne has been extremely disappointing. I discovered an unexpected transactions on my card and have been trying to get an explanation for over a week. Every time I called, I was told, “We’ll get back to you.” Nobody ever did. I had to keep chasing them myself, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to provide five-star service. Today, after all that waiting, I finally received a call only to be told they couldn’t find the transaction. How can a hotel be unable to identify a charge made to a guest’s card? That is deeply concerning and has completely destroyed my confidence in their billing practices. What makes this even more worrying is that I’ve heard of similar billing issues from a couple of friends who have also stayed here. Whether it’s poor record-keeping or something else, customers should never have to spend days trying to get answers about money taken from their account. The lack of communication, accountability, and urgency has been shocking. Instead of taking ownership and investigating properly, I was left doing all the follow-up while receiving no meaningful updates. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at The Langham Melbourne to carefully check every transaction on their account and think twice before booking. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
