Great hotel, have stayed three times for nearby conference. Conveniently located. More than happy with rooms, food and service. Great choice at buffet breakfast. At times the bar/restaurant gets busy and could definitely do with more staff on occasion. Young English chap keeps his cool and handles the queues/stress well. Great that parking is covered too. Will be back!

First time stayed at this premises since it changed over from Travelodge. Had forgotten that the windows don't open! Staff were friendly, appreciated the Welcome gift. Room was comfortable. Better information on the website regarding parking would be good!

For the price of the room, we expected better. The room was spacious but the bathroom was very outdated, floor tiles looked so dirty and marked, grout was mouldy and there was no hair dryer. Very, very basic for over $300 Supposed to be a river view, all we could see was the construction site next door

I recently stayed at Mercure Melbourne Southbank, and I can honestly say it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. A special thank you to the duty manager, who was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive throughout my visit — it truly made a difference. I also want to express my appreciation to the lady responsible for the restaurant; I unfortunately didn’t catch her name, but she was absolutely lovely and made every morning feel welcoming with her warm attitude and genuine care. Everything about the stay — from the clean and cozy room to the convenient location and excellent service — exceeded my expectations. I’m already looking forward to staying here again. Wishing the entire team, especially the duty manager and the restaurant staff, all the very best.

Our class reunion lunch was held on Wednesday and we would like to extend our appreciation to the hotel. The quality of the rooms, service, food, and staff was excellent. The buffet provided for our event was outstanding in both quality and quantity, which has prompted us to secure a booking for next year. The hotel's location, only a five-minute walk from Flinders Street Station, facilitated convenient access via public transport, and the discounted parking rate offered to our attendees was greatly appreciated. We would also like to express our gratitude to Pond for ensuring the function ran seamlessly throughout the day.
