Awesome 24/7 service. Room was nice and clean, I didn’t have any reaction to dust (which I’m very sensitive to in unclean hotels and Airbnb’s). And on my last day the lovely Eduardo at the service desk helped me check out easily and offered me some coffee while I waited for my Uber in the sitting area. Will definitely be going back when I come back to Melbourne.

Room was short of utensils and a fork. Otherwise facilities were good. Car parking is extra which in our case amounted to a 25% premium on the daily rate. On road parking is available but of course that is not secure. Location is about 600 metres from Sunshine Station and a Sky-bus service to the airport is to commence shortly. So an option for your preflight stay.

This service apartment is very new. The room is spacious with all necessary home equipments provided such as kitchenware, washing machine and tableware. Air-conditioning is adjustable. Hotel staff (both reception and housekeeping) are very nice and polite. Will definitely return to Punthill Sunshine (or any other Punthill Hotel) next time!

I would like to thank Tor & his colleague at the front desk last night for his exceptional customer service skills. After bookings.com system overbooked, due to Airport flight cancellations, I was extremely upset to be told there were no rooms at 1am!! Tor calmed me down & found me a city hotel & arranged a taxi. I highly value Tor’s sincere kindness!! I was then upgraded but above all I was safe & comfortable.

The hotel is in a sketchy area and is right next to visible drug activity. Rooms are very cramped but alright, smells as soon as you get out the elevators. Service was pretty bad when I brought issues to their attention. Carpark is tight and there is no safe street parking available. Save your money and go elsewhere.
