Classic Melbourne pub experience with a great atmosphere and a strong mix of locals and visitors. It felt like one of those places you have to experience at least once while in the city. Food was solid, the atmosphere was lively, and it was a great introduction to Melbourne’s pub culture after arriving in Australia. I highly recommend the Chicken Parma and the Vanilla Slice to truly experience local delicacy of theirs 😃

I reall like this pub, great location, atmosphere and certain seats have what would probably be the most iconic view in Melbourne (Flinders Station). Probably my favourite pub in the city. I went there before and AFL game at the MCG and it was great, six month later went back and it was much less busy but still had a charming atmosphere

Oldest pub in Melbourne - established in 1861. The notoriety comes from its history and location. For a pub, evening, dinner atmosphere, it is a lively bar. For lunch, it is good for a quick standard bite of classic pub food. Fish and chips had a decent crisp, and there were thick pieces of fish and fries. Beautiful view of the Flinders Station and great for people-watching out the window during the day. Plenty of seating.

We decided to hire the rooftop bar for our wedding reception and it was absolutely perfect. Sheyne was so helpful throughout the whole organisational process and was quick to help with any questions we had! On the day all the staff were so helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly we really had nothing to worry about. The food and drinks were amazing and delicious, especially the gluten free options. All our guests spoke so highly of the venue and staff and we couldn’t be happier, literally zero complaints. Thank you again for making our wedding reception a memorable one!

Stepping back in time here in Melbourne to a very famous pub, but unfortunately, it was the last stop for a lot of young Australians, who sacrifice our lives in World War II. It’s an amazing place and a tribute to those men and women..
