Reviews for 4 Pines Coolangatta

We love stopping in at 4 Pines Coolangatta. The service is always friendly and consistent, the food is spot on every time, and it’s dog-friendly which is a huge bonus. It’s our go-to lunch stop after a nice walk along the beach. A relaxed vibe, great food and always a good experience. 🐶🌊🍔

4 Pines Brewery in Coolangatta is an absolute gem! The location is unbeatable—right across from the beach, with relaxed coastal vibes and plenty of sunshine streaming through the open, airy space. The atmosphere is laid-back but buzzing, perfect for a casual catch-up or weekend session. The beer? Exceptional. They have a great mix of crowd favourites and unique small-batch brews, all fresh and full of flavour. The Pale Ale and the local Keller Door series were standouts for me. The food menu is great. I had the Poke bowl and hubby had the cheeseburger. Both fantastic!!. There’s something for everyone!. Service was friendly and fast, and the staff really knew their beer. Overall, a must-visit if you’re in Coolangatta. Great beer, great food, great vibes—what more could you want?

Forgot to post this at the time (September) Have a bit of a soft spot for 4pines, love their beer and have for a long time. Went to the venue for lunch and unfortunately the food really let us down, ordered the most underwhelming steak sandwich. Hoping it was a one off but I think next trip to Coolly might mean just a beer at 4pines and elsewhere for a feed.

Had a burger and the fish tortilla. Chips overdone with the burger. Accompanying triangle corn chips were just salty. No guacamole or salsa to dip them into. Hardly any fish inside the tortilla wrap. Go for the atmosphere, not the food. You get a free beer with any main course ordered.

Nice view of the beach and dogs welcome. The hazy place ale (despite the high alcohol content) was light and refreshing and I could have another. The little ripa (red indian pale ale) was unique and bursting with malty and fruity flavours this was my favourite.
