•Welcome to your favourite local in Sippy Downs. Chancellors Tavern is the perfect spot to enjoy a pub feed in the bistro, catch all the live sport on the big screens, gaming or enjoy drinks in the beer garden. The menu is full of pub classics, think burgers, parmys, pizzas and salads plus modern favourites like Mooloolaba prawn cocktail, curry cauliflower croquettes and cornflake coated chicken wings. The newly venue offers an ideal environment for a relaxed lunch after a shop at Chancellor Park Marketplace next door. Plus kids can enjoy the largest play area in the area. The beer garden is the perfect casual setting to grab a few beers and snacks in the sunshine. You can even enjoy a free game of skittles in the outdoor game lanes!

Ya Boi stopped in for a quick early dinner and found the vegetarian options limited between the designated hours of lunch and dinner. Settled on a vegetarian pizza which did not impress. Although the staff were fantastic and the dining room pleasant and comfortable the food was lack lustre. Domino’s does better pizzas for a third of the price. Ya Boi does not recommend the vege pizza. Things were not well 😬 ⭐️⭐️⭐️= Could be better
Large venue, very, very child friendly being a young person's area , food was exceptionally good value highly recommend the pasta , cooked to perfection. Sad thing was 95% of the beers on tap were not available. Only reason for the 3 stars on atmosphere extremely noisy children but you must accept this in a family friendly hotel.
We recently celebrated a surprise 60th for my Mother in Law at the chancellors tavern and they went above and beyond. The bartender was amazing with assisting with all our needs throughout the day. The platters where phenomenal! The 'extras' that came with the room was amazing, such as tv, microphone, speaker and a private bar. When you look anywhere else you have to pay for all of that. Jazz and Hannah where amazing to work with, they answered every and all questions and there was alot. And it was super kid friendly which we loved. I highly recommend for any function.
I waited 50 minutes for an entree to come out then within seconds the mains followed, that’s also stating that I wanted the entree first. One main was cold and the entree was cold. I understood it was a little busy but on other occasions I’ve been here it has never been this bad. Not the greatest service tonight either
Firstly disappointed that at our last visit we enjoyed a very nice seniors Sunday roast on a Monday night. Tonight we come on a Sunday…no Sunday roast on menu. And also disappointing to ask for a entree I had last time scallops with pork belly bits was no longer available. So I chose Leek & potato croquettes but to be told they didn’t have any.. to add to the issue I then selected Surf & Turf to be told it’s not available as they had no prawns. I began to think is there anything available? I chose Beef. & Guinness pie, there was no Guinness in the pie & the gravy was stone cold. Very different to my last & 1st ever visit. Sorry not in a position to give a good rating tonight
