Amazing food and atmosphere! We ate here for my birthday dinner over school holidays. The outdoor space is the best I’ve seen for families with kiddos. Big playground with a shade cover. A basketball court with no noise foam basketballs. And a huge outdoor tv for the sports fans. The food was so delicious. I had the pumpkin ravioli and was really impressed. Everyone at the table had great meals as well. Good portion sizes, good prices. Could not fault the place. The staff were really friendly too. We’ll be back next time we’re on the Sunny Coast.

Our new venue for monthly club meetings as of November is top notch! All members in attendance last night commented on what a great venue it was for us, excellent food, friendly and fast service, fully equipped and comfortable meeting room, lots of parking too. Looking forward to resuming meetings next year. Thanks team!

A nice tavern with easy access and plenty of parking slots. The food was good, featuring juicy chicken schnitzel and crispy fish and chips. Lovely ambience and a well-decorated TAB area.

We had a lovely dinner at the Sandstone Tavern. The meals were huge and absolutely delicious. While the food did take a little while to come out, the staff handled it beautifully with amazing service, complimentary gifts, and even wine for the table. Their care and professionalism completely turned the wait into a positive experience. Great atmosphere, fantastic customer service, and well worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back! Our little bloke loved all the space and us parents enjoyed the festival vibes

Sands Tavern have nailed their new upgrades! We recently visited and were seriously impressed. The meals were absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were massive — definitely great value for money. The service stood out too, with staff who were polite, welcoming, and quick to clear tables, keeping everything running smoothly. A huge highlight (especially for families) was the basketball court with silent basketballs — honestly such a genius idea! The kids can play without the constant noise, which makes it enjoyable for everyone. The playground is another great touch and keeps the little ones entertained. The beer garden has such a cosy vibe with the fake grass and big screen TV — perfect spot to relax, watch a game, and unwind. We’ll definitely be coming back — such a great all-round experience for both adults and kids!
