We had a much needed family day out at Kryal Castle and it was fantastic. I had not been since I was a kid and it was just as awesome as I remembered. The kids had an absolute blast. The medieval displays were engaging and well done, and the horsemanship was incredible, definitely one of the highlights of the day. There was plenty to see and do, and it made for a fun, easy outing for the whole family. The on site food options were OK, nothing amazing, but reasonably priced for a tourist attraction and very convenient when you have kids with you. Highly recommend if you are looking for something different to do with the family.

Okay... let's put it this way, kryal castle is so good to go to. The torture chamber is super cool and a little frightening I made my partner walk ahead of me because I was slightly scared. There is an adorable yack whom lives there and horses, yes you can interact with them and the rooms inside of the castle have spa baths, well ours did and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it. Also we went through the maze at night and visited the grave site with a torch which put a different feel to the place. I love kryal castle.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed in the King Spa Room and absolutely loved the experience. The room was comfortable and made the whole medieval stay feel immersive from the moment we arrived. The grounds were fantastic, with plenty of activities happening throughout the day. The knights and jousting displays were exciting, and seeing so many people in full costume really brought the castle to life. Reception set the tone straight away. The staff member who checked us in clearly loved her job and it showed in her energy and friendliness. The standout for us was the Potions Class. The character work was incredible and completely stole the show. It was entertaining, engaging, and one of those experiences you genuinely remember. Kryal Castle is a must-visit. Fun, immersive, and something a bit different from the usual getaway.

I was at Kryal castle 15 years ago for a wedding and it was pretty run down back then. They had a revamp in 2011 and we stayed in early 2026 and it’s so much better now. Stayed in the castle rooms (4 nights) which included entry to the castle during the day for the activities. Spent two days in the castle throwing axes, watching jousting and generally wandering around. Quite enjoyed the stay and can definitely recommend it. Visited the caravan section to do a wash load and it looks like it’s well setup with central toilets and ammenities.

Great stay. The staff are super friendly, rooms are clean and reasonable (we stayed in the barracks, nothing remarkable but did the job). The kids have loved staying in a castle, the park access is a massive plus. Only a short trip into town for any needs... Would definitely recommend for families.
