•Welcome to Never Never Distilling Co! When we first started making gin in the back of a shed in Royal Park in 2016, we never thought that within four years we would be perched atop a hill in McLaren Vale, boasting one of the best views in the state. We put this view on our label back when we started, before we even knew that the site existed—unaware that we were truly manifesting our own destiny. We first walked up that dirt track to the top of Chalk Hill in 2018 and stood gobsmacked by the rolling hills and expansive sky, immediately knowing we were about to become part of a very special place. We opened our doors in 2020 with one very clear motive in mind: to celebrate hospitality in everything that we do. When you choose to hold your event with us, we strive to deliver the same experience for our guests as we would for our own family and friends. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, an important corporate event, or a long-awaited reunion with loved ones, we look forward to sharing your special moments with you — and to delivering a truly unforgettable Never Never experience.

We had come all the way from Scotland to stay with a friend in Willunga and she had brought as here as I like gin. The location was beautiful. The staff were so polite and welcoming. They even gave us a drink on the house for coming so far. That was really cool of them to do and made it even more memorable. One of the staff even kindly took our photos for us. I can’t wait to come back the next time we are down visiting.
Had the most wonderful experience at Never Never on a gorgeous sunny afternoon, with stunning vistas, blissful tunes, amazing gins (loved the Oyster Shell), delish food (try the Gamberi Pinsa) and most of all friendly welcoming service for us out-of towners! Thank you Azalia and Kayla! We will be back for sure!
Never Never Distilling is a magical place! The scenery is breathtaking, the distillery has comfortable indoor & outdoor seating options. The gin varieties are plenty & the tasting is a great way to sample the variety. The staff are super fun & helpful!
We had such a wonderful time, a special thanks to Ben and Ash for being so personable and bringing star service the entire time. My girls organised a baby hens, super intimate 4 ladies, wine tasting was lovely (we did book this) asked to do a gin tasting (no booking) they fit us in, the service was sensational, their hospitality was totally on point, highly recommended! So much love! Gin was tasty too😉
Gin: 5 Service/hospitality: 1 We stopped by for a quick gin and pizza. When we arrived, the staff explained that gin and wine are serviced in separate areas, which we completely understand. We chose to have gin, so we sat on the gin side as directed. At the time, there were no customers sitting outside at all and only one group inside. We chose to sit on one of the outdoor couches. Since there was no table service in that area, we walked to the bar to order our drinks, which was fine. However, after paying for our second round, my partner walked back to our seats and I was asked to wait at the bar and carry the drinks myself , even though there were no other customers at that time. It felt a little unnecessary given how quiet it was. We were enjoying the sunshine, but as the heat became stronger and we started feeling a bit burnt, we moved from the couch to a slightly larger outdoor table and ordered another round. We were then asked to move to a smaller table in case a large group arrived. While we understood the reasoning, there were still several large tables available. Shortly after, we were asked to move to a smaller table in case a large group arrived. While we understood the reasoning, there were still several large tables available, and it was not peak hour at all when we visited. What made it more confusing was that shortly after, another couple of two people were seated at the table we had just been asked to leave. Overall, the gin drinks were enjoyable, but the service felt a bit overly strict which it wasn’t makesense, which affected the hospitalityi experience. A little more flexibility and warmth would have made the visit much more enjoyable.
