Don't know what the rooms are like didn't stay there. Went a meal in the Grand Bar which was very under par. I ordered pork snitty with mushroom sauce. $31. The snitty was small and underwhelming, I questioned if they had forgotten and given me half serve. No that's normal I'm told. And the tiny cup of gravy was $3. Salad was dry and bland. Yes in the photo I have cut two small corners off. You would be lucky if it covered 1/4 of the plate Flavour was mmm ok but I won't be running back to try again. Daughter ordered chicken Parm and was refunded when it was realised the pineapple was off. Even the bar staff agreed it was rank. Great location but meals are very low class.

Parking is fairly pricey,$30 for the night, and very tight spaces, not ideal if you have a larger or taller vehicle. The bathroom is mostly clean. The room has a few areas that could be better attended. Location is excellent, very central. Balcony view is lovely. Unfortunately the room was very hot as the AC does nothing. Staff were capable and polite. The bed is comfortable, if a little soft. The mini bar pricing is steep, at $12 for a bottle of water. The breakfast was also a steep add on at $40 for 2. Overall a reasonable stay, with good facilities.

Perfect location. High tea was not a fantastic experience. The food was mediocre. Cold and overdone. Sandwiches were the best thing on offer. The staff were friendly. Chamomile tea was served in an Irish coffee cup. The second one came in a giant mug to try to pour into a teacup. The area had a great view but windows were dirty, searing and tables are like your local bakery. Nothing upmarket or stylish. The bar staff were friendly. Drinks reasonably priced. The bar itself is elevated and presented well. Old fashioned seating, chesterfield lounges and chairs.

I am writing to formally raise concerns regarding the experience my wife and I had during our stay at the Stamford Grand on the 14th & 15 Nov, booked using the Coast is Calling accommodation voucher. While we appreciated the voucher and the $200 contribution, several aspects of the stay were unacceptable given the cost and our mobility needs. Key Issues Experienced: • We specifically requested a room with a walk-in shower for safety reasons; a supplement was charged for this essential feature. • We were offered “city” or “ocean” view options only at an additional cost. • Parking was charged separately. • The evening meal at the hotel restaurant was poor in quality and not value for money, falling significantly below the standard expected. • Breakfast service was understaffed, with items frequently running out and not promptly replenished. • The total additional charges beyond the voucher left us paying over $800 for the stay. These extra charges, combined with the quality issues, meant the booking failed to deliver a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable break. A review of accessibility-related charges, particularly the supplement for a walk-in shower, for elderly guests which should be considered a basic safety accommodation rather than an upgrade. and will discuss this with an Aged rights advocate seeking advice for aged care rights facilities and further assurance that service standards are adhered to. Particularly in dining and breakfast provision, will be improved for future guests.

Ocean view rooms are great. Spacious with an awesome view looking out. Breakfast didn't start til 7am. Bit hard when you're on golf trip. Nice location on the beach with lots of food and places to drink around the hotel.
