I recently stayed at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Hobart and had such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to share a review. From the moment I arrived, everything about the hotel felt welcoming, comfortable, and well-organized. The location is fantastic, right by the waterfront, which made it easy to explore the city and enjoy the beautiful harbour views. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with large windows that really made the most of the scenery. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of walking around Hobart. The facilities were also excellent, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel struck a great balance between being professional and genuinely welcoming. What truly made my stay memorable, though, was the exceptional service I received from one of the employees, BT (Big Tyson). BT went above and beyond to make sure everything during my stay was perfect. He were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, always greeting guests with a smile and offering assistance whenever needed. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about making guests feel comfortable. I would even compare his work to the likes of LeBron James and Michael Jordan himself. Customer service like that really stands out and makes a big difference when travelling. Thanks to BT and the rest of the team, my stay at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart was smooth, relaxing, and genuinely enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hobart and would happily stay there again in the future.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart and couldn't recommend it more! The location is unbeatable, right on the waterfront and within easy walking distance of Salamanca Market, the wharf, great cafés, restaurants, bars, experiences and the CBD. We didnt even need to hire a car during our stay. Our room was comfortable, clean and had stunning harbour views. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the heated indoor pool and sauna, which were perfect after a day of exploring Tasmania. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, professional and genuinely helpful. Room service was prompt, the food was delicious, and the bar had a great atmosphere with friendly staff and excellent drinks. If you're visiting Hobart for a holiday, this hotel offers everything you could want: an incredible location, comfortable rooms, fantastic facilities and outstanding customer service. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tasmania.

To Chief and back of house staff, a big thank you for your attention and the desert for my wife. The food was excellent and well presented. On a busy night, front of house did an excellent job ensuing a smooth flow maintaining a chereful (and professional) attitude, even when challenged by a less than happy customer.. To afternoon front counter staff on thursday, a big thank you for the bottle of sparkling as a suprise for my wifes early birthday. These few days were great, made better by he hotel staff.

Ticks all the boxes! The rooms and amenities are clean and staff are super friendly and helpful. Especially loved that they had a water filter on every level so we didn’t have to buy new bottles of water every day. The food and drinks in the restaurant was delicious, definitely recommend staying her.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay. All staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. The view of the harbour from our room was fantastic. Breakfast downstairs was a bonus, particularly the totally separate gluten free section and everything clearly labelled. Even the staff clearing the tables were very thorough and always with a smile. Loved the humour of the security guys at reception.
