Nestled amongst the streets of Barangaroo is 12-Micron’s newly-developed, unique and dedicated, function and event space – Watermans Room. Watermans Room is located at the northern end of the waterfront and features complete glass frontage, a private balcony with breathtaking views of Sydney’s harbour, a spacious interior and a relaxed yet sophisticated aesthetic. The Watermans Room concept was established to create an opportunity where the contemporary Australian ethos of the 12-Micron restaurant could align with large scale events of all varieties. The main objective behind Watermans Room, is to provide a unique space to host tailored and exquisite experiences.

If you’re after an exclusive space, our private dining room seats up to 32 and is the epitome of private. Stunning solid timber walls allow for complete privacy or can provide a window through to the stunning waterfront! With an adjoining pre drinks & mingling space - the Private Dining Room truly is the perfect space for any event! For cocktail events with more than 50 guests, we can include our beautiful cocktail bar area which is situated directly outside the dining room and by combining the 2 spaces, we can accommodate up to 100 guests.

NEW! Harbour Room: The newly revamped Harbour Room combines contemporary design with waterfront charm. Its spacious interior, adorned with sophisticated furnishings, is perfect for both small meetings and large corporate events. With panoramic views and a professional atmosphere, the Harbour Room can accommodate up to 130 guests in a cocktail setting, making it an exceptional choice for hosting successful business events. Designed by renowned design duo Kirsten Stanisich and Jonathan Richards, 12-Micron draws inspiration from Sydney’s native flora and urban context. Every detail has been carefully considered and beautifully realised – from the cobblestone floors to the suspended linen ceiling and textured bark-like leather finishes. The colour palette of plum, green and blue captures the essence of Sydney. This semi-private area is perfect for immersive banquet events with an added buzz. The space offers a relaxed and heartfelt dining experience, where up to 90 guests can bond over food.
