Excellent venue to celebrate my disco themed 50th in the Lava Lounge. Managers Erin and Dani were great to deal with in the planning phase and on the night, and all the staff friendly and professional. The food was high quality and plentiful. And they have a DJ space that made it easy for me to hire one in. Overall it was a really fun night, and all my guests were saying how awesome the night was. Would definitely recommend for your next event

With many amazing experiences at Bottomless Brunch’s we were excited to try the Burdekin Hotels bottomless drag show. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. Service was the biggest issue. For a bottomless package priced at $100 per head, we got perched onto barstools with a tiny table, which in itself felt quite uncomfortable, we were instantly concerned. We had expected table service, as this in all previous experiences had been the norm. Instead, we had to go to the bar ourselves every time we wanted a drink. Even worse, we couldn’t order for our friends, the whole group had to go up together each round. This was inconvenient & something we’ve never encountered at any other bottomless brunch. The food, equally disappointing. It started with stale toasted bread cut into small pieces served with what tasted like basic Aldi hummus (Aldi’s is probably better). This was followed by undercooked, messy shaved corn kernels off the cob that nobody enjoyed. The low point was the no-frills mini sausage rolls, so cheap that when I dipped one in tomato sauce, the “meat” stayed in the sauce, leaving me with an empty pastry shell that looked more like a cicada cocoon. Finished by a dense mini frozen pizza fresh from a grill (yay 🙄) Overall, the food felt like the absolute bare minimum - that’s me being polite! Drinks were just meh. With the Aperol Spritz tasting more like a soda water than anything resembling what was ordered. The venue reeked of marijuana (staff blamed the neighbouring tobacconist), & the staff attitude was lacklustre at best. The only saving grace was the drag show, which was mediocre but somewhat entertaining, even if some of the costumes were literally falling apart mid-performance. For $100 per person, this experience was not worth it at all. We definitely DO NOT recommend the Burdekin Bottomless Brunch.

Thanks to the Burdekin for a terrific night last Saturday when I was DJ for both my daughter and her friends assorted 30 year plus birthdays. The venue was great and the staff extremely helpful. It was a Dracula themed night, so I up light the room in red. Food was very good and the Roof Top bar is a fabulous setting for a few drinks and nibblies. Burdekin was great. The men in the dresses were very good at all they did. However, my main contemplation is how I can live in this isolated shag pad across the road. How do we get there there?

Thank you so much for all your help in getting us into the Lava Lounge for our Nickelodeon 30 Year Reunion!!! The Lava Lounge holds so many great memories for so many of us. :) The event was EPIC and the venue was exactly where we needed to be. The air-conditioning, on such a hot and humid day, did struggle a bit, especially with so many chattering bodies in the room. Your staff were excellent and it all went beyond expectations.
