Great hotel in Sydney. Perfectly positioned close to Central Station. The hotel is right in the heart of Chinatown with brilliant food and coffee options on the hotel doorstep. The hotels gym is small but well equipped and the in house restaurant is very very good. Their breakfast menu has an asian influence which is refreshing to the standard western fare at 99% of other hotels. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The Caption is a new kid on the block but will certainly gain a reputation as a great option to stay when in Sydney.

Amazing stay! I have loved every bit of my stay here. I’ve stayed in many hotels around Sydney CBD and this one is up there with the best. Amazing price for a one night mid week stay in a twin room. New and nice amenities in my room and hotel. Included breakfast is incredible value for money. We paid $230 for one night mid week stay with breakfast included. Incredible location close to Capitol Theatre and public transport. I will defiantly be here again.

Ultra modern, clean and comfortable hotel that skews toward a youngish crowd. Great resturant/bar. Fantastic location if you need to be close to central station/intercity busses etc. Shops, restaurants, bars on your doorstep. Rooms are a little on the small side but fine for a couple of days, just for sleeping etc and have a bit of a sitting area. No proper work desks in the room so more suited to casual/tourist trips than business. Showers are great - hot and strong. Would happily go back to this hotel again.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Caption. The room was amazing - very clean, bright, spacious and the bathroom was perfect! We especially liked the rain shower which had excellent water pressure! There are only three elevators, however, they are fast and efficient. We never had to wait more than 1 minute for one. The location is perfect - right in the heart of Chinatown and easy walking distance to everything. The hotel is close to light rail stops and is very conveniently located close to food shops and Market City. The Talk Shop Cafe inside the Caption had excellent fries and burgers! A special thank you to Lieony Sari and the rest of the staff for such an amazing stay. Highly recommended and we will be back!

We had a great stay at Caption by Hyatt Sydney Central. The hotel has a fun, lively vibe that really stands out. It’s also very clean and well maintained, which made everything comfortable and easy. The location was perfect for what we needed. We were in Sydney to watch The Lion King at the Capitol Theatre, and it’s literally right next door, super convenient. We also loved visiting Paddy's Markets Haymarket food court, which is less than a 3-minute walk from the hotel, with plenty of great food options. A special mention to the duty manager, Yeji Kim, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. She made us feel genuinely looked after, and that personal touch made a real difference. Overall, a fantastic choice if you want something clean, vibrant, and right in the middle of everything. Would definitely stay again.
