3rd visit here since it opened and this time the service was excellent thanks to Will! It was extremely sunny in our eyes and we were able to move tables easily. Food was delicious and we had a great night!

Visited Sat 17th Jan around lunchtime for our first visit since the renovation. First impressions were very positive — the place looks beautiful. We went to the bar for drinks and to enquire about lunch. The staff were friendly; however, we were told that food could only be ordered from the bar snack menu if seated in the bar area. Main meals are only served in the Porta restaurant, which was fully booked. This seemed unusual, especially as the bar area appeared to be around 70% empty, while the Porta restaurant looked quite cramped. The views from the Porta restaurant are limited, with the function room taking up what seems to be the best outlook. It was also disappointing to see very little outdoor seating, as this would be highly desirable given the location and lovely views. Such a missed opportunity! Another odd choice was the placement of the gaming lounge on the restaurant side rather than near the bar. Overall, the venue looks lovely but we were disappointed and left once we finished our drinks. Also charging over $11 per schooner seems excessive.

Located at Sanoni Avenue, Sandringham, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 A good little club, we had not been for quite some time, since before the renovations had been done and we came last night for the concert 🎶, One Hit Wonders. The concert was great, played some wonderful music to dance too. My group, which included people with disabilities had a fantastic time. The dinner was good, personally I found my scotch fillet to be too fatty and I don’t like fat on my meat but everyone else enjoyed their meals. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Very helpful. The views over the water were fantastic. A great job with the renovations, club looks great. There’s a 🛗 to get from main entrance to main floor so wheelchair accessible. The menu is your basic club menu with all the favourites, my friend had the $20 lobster 🦞, she said it was nice but TINY! The price for the concert 🎵 was so good, only $10 but you got $10 off your food or drinks 🍷. Great Value!! It’s a lovely club and I would certainly recommend and return!!! Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍

First time out of area visitor with friends who are local members. After having a couple of drinks in the sports bar we planned of having dinner in the restaurant which by 7pm was about half filled with patrons. However, Were left disappointed when told, as we didn't have a booking and they were changing to using QR code table scan the following day our only option was the bar snack menu. 🤔If only the service matched the view!

We were exited to try the newly renovated club, whose website states - “What to expect- Exceptional service” but as others have said, many service issues need to be fixed. When we arrived the 3 staff at the Host’s podium were far too busy talking to greet us, after 30 seconds or so I had to step forward and say “hello there?” to receive service. We were seated & 10 mins later we had to ask a passing waiter if there was table service or should we go to the bar. My husband was given a different menu to me, with a set menu & no sides. After entrées we asked about the bread being served to other tables as we hadn’t seen it on the menu. We were told it was complimentary, but we hadn’t been offered any. When we were ordering our waitress told us the Salmon Crudo on the small plates menu was raw, not smoked. It did not taste citrus cured, just oily & smoked. The lamb skewer was interesting, rich and tasty. The octopus was delicious, as were the sides we ordered- nduja carrots, butternut squash & corn ribs. The pork cutlet was ok, but very dry. I would have liked to have ordered another beverage during diner but no one came near us for me to do so even though our glasses were empty. Overall a pretty disappointing, expensive evening with the lack of experienced service. We won’t be back if we continue to hear such poor reviews.
