Following a recent refurbishment, Helm Cockle Bay now features two distinct venues — The Terrace and The Garden — each showcasing a fresh Mediterranean-inspired look that complements the stunning waterfront surrounds. These versatile spaces can be tailored to suit any occasion, accommodating cocktail-style events for up to 400 guests on The Terrace and 204 guests in The Garden, all with uninterrupted harbour views.

One of Sydney’s most inviting waterfront destinations, The Terrace is the ideal place to casually unwind while taking in sweeping views across Darling Harbour. This elevated space is perfect for vibrant after-work drinks, relaxed weekend catch-ups, and intimate events.
The Terrace is a glass-fronted space overlooking Darling Harbour and features a refined, contemporary fit-out with low-level seating, comfortable lounge areas, and a large shared dining table. For events, the layout is flexible — select low tables can be swapped for high tables, creating a mixed setting that allows for both seated and standing guests. The space can be tailored for private events and accommodates 15 to 100 guests, making it ideal for everything from casual gatherings to stylish celebrations.
