The venue itself is grand, reminiscent of a lofty New York-style restaurant with high ceilings, incredible views of the historic QVB and a temperature-controlled feature wine wall running down it's length.

Had a great stay at the Sydney Hilton🌟. Special thanks to: - Reception staff - Executive Club Lounge staff - Concierge (thanks for the umbrella loans!) - Cleaning staff - and Valet Staff were exceptional, even carried our bags to the Uber and insisted they put the bags in the boot for us! The room was great and super comfortable. We had a great little coffee maker, and there was a view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, plus the room was quiet. The bath towels were brilliant. The hotel location was superb, directly on the light rail line, easy to get everywhere from there. Will definitely return when next in Sydney✨. 🔥tip: to save turning on the bathroom light in the night, pack a little censor night light.
Concierge service here is truly beyond reproach! Ludwig greeted us right at the drop-off sidewalk even before we checked in and immediately took care of our luggage. The team delivered our bags directly to the room after check-in, which made the arrival process seamless. Ludwig even went out of his way to assist our colleague who was staying on a different floor at the same time. This level of attention and professionalism is the epitome of Hilton’s outstanding customer service. An excellent experience from start to finish.
We stayed here for two nights (Feb 13-15) prior to a cruise, in a Twin Deluxe room on the 40th floor. The public spaces of this hotel are very nice, and the location is excellent for shopping and dining, not to mention the variety of transit options nearby (with the light rail right outside). We felt that the room was pretty standard, but perfectly nice. We had a great city view of Town Hall, the QVB, and up George Street, and the technology and decor were all up to date. The bathroom had a sliding frosted glass door (which we dislike), and it was mis-aligned so left a half inch gap exposed when closed. Breakfast was much better than I had expected, and the Glass Brasserie was beautiful. We ate at the beginning of the peak period both mornings, but there was plenty of seating and no wait (there was a long line when we finished on Saturday morning, however, when the hotel was fully booked). We would happily stay here again.
I travel frequently and stay in hotels all over the world. This was easily one of the worst experiences I have had. At approximately 1am, another guest walked straight into my room. The hotel had failed to check me in properly and allocated the same room to someone else. That is not a minor administrative oversight. It is a serious security failure. No guest should ever have to experience another person entering their room because of a front desk error. When I was about to get into bed, I found hair and mascara on the pillows. It was obvious the bed had been used and not properly serviced. For a property charging over eight hundred dollars a night, this is unacceptable. Cleanliness is not a luxury feature. It is a basic operational standard. After reporting the issue, I was left sitting in the foyer until 5am waiting for another room to be organised. I was then told the only available option was a single bed. That is not a reasonable solution at this price point, nor is it reflective of the brand’s reputation. To make matters worse, the front doorbell does not work. Late night arrivals should not involve standing outside knocking and hoping someone responds. Basic access and security procedures appear to be lacking. This was not an inconvenience. It was a breakdown of fundamental operational standards and guest safety. And based on other reviews, I fully expect a generic response from Angela at the executive office rather than meaningful accountability. That in itself says something. I will not be staying here again.
