Stayed here before a flight and it was honestly perfect. The rooms were super clean with extremely comfy beds and pillows, plus blackout curtains that make it easy to sleep during the day. The bathroom was great too — big vanity mirror with good lighting. The free breakfast was spot on, and the coffee was actually really good. Service all around was friendly and helpful. They also have a lunch and dinner menu you can order from for an extra charge, and there’s a bar on the first level which is super convenient. Overall, an awesome spot and very close to the airport. Highly recommend for anyone needing a comfortable, stress-free stay.

Large room in this 8 storey hotel. Reception up one floor, breakfast room also on the first floor. Laundry room and fitness centre on 2nd floor. Kettle and safe in room. Modern design and wall to ceiling window with good blackout blind. If you're arriving at the international airport, take the free shuttle to domestic terminal 2. Enter the terminal and find escalator down one floor. As you exit, look for hotel "signs" either on the sidewalk or sign posts. It's about a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Across from the hotel, you'll find Patchett Pies as well as a burger food truck. There is also a QR code in room to order food. Breakfast is the usual HIE fare and available between 6:30 and 9:30.

recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport and had a somewhat complex issue during my visit. I was fortunate enough to deal directly with one of the managers, Richard, who went above and beyond to assist me. Richard was exceptionally professional, understanding, and proactive in ensuring the situation was handled smoothly. His communication was clear, and he genuinely cared about finding the best possible outcome. Thanks to his efforts, everything was resolved quickly and with a positive result. It’s rare to come across service as genuine and thoughtful as what Richard provided. His professionalism and kindness truly reflect the high standards of the hotel. I can’t thank him enough for turning what could have been a stressful experience into a great one.

Stayed for a night with my family before an early morning flight the next day. Reception is on the first floor which is confusing. Room was great with a nice city view and breakfast next morning was the highlight of the stay. Would definitely visit again. Close to the local food shops if you prefer to explore at the night.

Joshua and his reception colleagues were excellent—friendly, helpful, and efficient. As newcomers to Sydney as tourists, we appreciated their assistance. The rooms were very clean and the location was perfect for our flight. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you! There are too many Halloween-themed decorations. More simple and tasteful décor would create a more welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
