celebrated my Australian citizenship at Hotel Palisade yesterday, and it was honestly a 5-star experience from start to finish. A special thank you to Grace—she was amazing. She looked after our group so well, brought such a fun and warm energy, and had a great sense of humour. She even took photos for us, and they turned out so good—something we really appreciated. The atmosphere, service, and overall vibe of the venue were perfect for such a special occasion. Everything felt elevated but still relaxed, exactly what I was hoping for. Highly recommend for celebrations—will definitely be back!
This is a long standing pub that still offers rooms above the pub. It's a solid clean 2 star venue in a great location for both Barangaroo and The Rocks and Circular Quay. The only warning is it doesn't have air conditioning (it does have a heater). No air con in Sydney is a big risk from December through March, so travelers need to consider this before booking. Check-in is at the bar, but unfortunately there was no one available who could help me get the TV working or sort out a light that didn't work.
Location great. Some bar staff are full of their own self importance. Not welcoming at all, I felt very awkward and unwelcome. Better off having a drink downstairs and finding a better roof top bar that has genuine care and welcome for its patrons.
Bi lei. Buyaolai We wait for 10 minutes for Happy Hour but no one comes to order but chat with other customers. We tell a staff the happy hour is almost over could you please help us to order? He just shakes his head and keep talking to other customer. We're transparent.
Went for dinner on Good Friday. Friendly staff, had the smash burger and the braised lamb salad with Haloumi added. Both were 10 out of 10. Teens had the chicken burger and both without prompt said how good it was. All without “the Rocks” pricing. Highly recommend Bonus is view of the bridge if sitting outside
