Koda is my new favourite spot right now. The food is unreal, the pork belly, lasagne gyoza and scallops are all must orders and the cocktails are the best I’ve had in Sydney. Sitting at the grill and watching everything come together just adds to the vibe. Loud, fun, great energy, already planning my next visit.

Group of 5 diners ordering drinks and dining in. Venue was loud and hot. Waitress said she would check if we could get 5 tostadas as a standard order is 4 pieces. She said it's not possible but would check although she never came back with an answer and we ended up only getting 4 pieces. Chicken tendies were bland. "Caviar" and sauce served in takeaway sauce containers that you can scoop out with a popsicle. Crispy eggplant was too heavily battered and held all the oil. Bug popcorn was exceptionally chewy and couldn't taste the bug. Lobster ramen is soupless and served in a take away container. Lasagne gyoza is creative but dish seemed confused cause the sauce masked the meat flavour. The group decided not to order skewers based on the experience with the food already served. Drinks were great but not enough to bring us back.

Went to KODA Sydney recently — such an awesome experience. A fresh spot in Sydney with a unique Japanese-infused vibe. Great ambience, amazing flavours, and definitely worth checking out. Chef on the grill created such a vibe. Will definitely be back!
