We had a lovely lunch at Olio. The ambiance and service were both wonderful, making for a great dining experience. We’ve ordered from A La Carte menu rather than the set lunch menu, and a few glasses of drink. Some of the textures were unexpected for us—for example, the Bonito was quite soft even slightly mushy, and the Risotto di Calamari (which is made of finely diced calamari rather than rice I think?) had a unique, mild consistency that was a bit different from the traditional risotto. Tonnarelli is the signature dish I believe, was a bit under seasoned for my personal opinion, the sauce didn’t seem to carry much of seafood’s richness as I expected. The Tiramisu was light on the coffee aroma, while the Panna Cotta was a standout, highlight of our meal. We found the dishes (especially Tonnarelli and Risotto di Calamari) a little too subtle in flavor for our personal palates. We were expecting bold and soul-warming traditional Italian flavours and textures. Overall, a great spot for those who enjoy innovative, refined interpretations of Italian cuisine.

We tried the 9-course menu for three people and overall had a wonderful experience. The dishes were beautifully presented and prepared. Everything was delicious, though the wagyu beef was slightly salty for our taste. The service was attentive, portions were very generous — more than enough for three. We were truly full by the end! We had mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and requested a small birthday touch, but unfortunately this didn’t happen, which was a little disappointing. Overall, we still enjoyed the experience and appreciated the quality of the food and service.

An absolute delight! The food was amazing, the atmosphere beautiful and the service outstanding! We had the 9 course Olio Experience, and what a wonderful gourmet food experience - it was all so delicious. The blue swimmer crab squid ink pasta was divine, as was the wagyu rump. The tiramisu was decadent. And they make a pretty mean martini too!. Service was fantastic, friendly and professional. The whole experience takes 1 hour and 45 minutes and they were right, just the right amount of time. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely experience at Olio. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente with rich, balanced flavors, and the pizza had a great thin, crispy base. Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

We went for dinner on a Saturday night- very busy! All the tables were occupied and it seemed short staffed. We waited about 30 mins for us to eventually walk up to the bar and ask if our order could be taken. Just a heads up- do not order- 1)the octopus as a starter. We questioned why it was so tough and the waitress said it’s because it’s deep fried. It was so tough our knives wouldn’t cut it. 2) The $60 steak- very small serving, not worth the money. 3) the rigatoni- can get better pasta elsewhere. The pros- The drinks were good and nice ambiance for a date night.
