13/02/2026-15/02/2026 Had a surprised trip here for Valentine’s Day 2026. Pleasantly surprised, beautiful architecture wonderful surprise. Upscale room, had a TV that can retract by the bed. Spacious, beautiful views. Convenient location, excellent service. Overall it was a trip to remember. I love the facilities here, got a nice relaxing massage as well. Room was cleaned, sheets immaculate everyday. Thank you for making this trip so special. I really do appreciate this.

We cannot fault this hotel and will definitely stay again. The location was excellent and central to everything. Just a short walk to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. We stayed in the Heritage rooms, which were very spacious with beautiful high ceilings. The restaurant serves a great breakfast and the pricing is very fair. We had the a la carte breakfast which catered for everyone, teenagers included, with everything from an incredible bacon & egg burger, to Bircher muesli, pancakes and omelettes. The bar was a great spot for an early evening drink with a great snack menu too. Amazing staff in every area. They could not have been more helpful. A perfect stay, thank you!

I recently stayed at this hotel after it was rebranded from the Raddison Blu to the Paradox Sydney. Upon arrival, we were greeted with friendly porters and reception staff. I did not recall his name however, he was a quite gentleman, who was always willing to assist with our bags and provide a warm smile upon entering and exiting the hotel. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. As we only stayed for one night, we chose to have a drink at the hotel bar 'The Fax Bar', it is to be commended. However, Ravmina our waitress was lovely when we first arrived, however I myself requested a mocktail, at the bottom of the page it informed us to speak to our server to discover what other drinks could be made mocktails. Ravmina, informed us, that all Martini's could be turned into mocktails. I order a passionfruit Martini, and was under the impression this was a mocktail. I drank this and must commened the bartenders. However, upon ordering a second martini (Lychee), my Mother tasted this and immediately called over Ravmina to inform her that this included alcohol, she was quite appologetic and offered to make us another mocktail, ensuring it did not contain alchol. She also informed us that this would be settled and we would only pay for the one mocktail for $12. However, when we came to settle the bill, we witness that she HAD NOT changed this and refused to tell her collegue. We were hen gifted 30% off and were only charger for one drink. Coming from a 5 star hotel, this poor miscommunication is appaling and the team members should be retrained and greater informed about this discrpency. Overall, the hotel was nice to stay at, however this poor incident was a little shamful for the hotel.

Had the most amazing experience at the paradox with my 10 year old daughter!! All of the staff were so welcoming from the get go and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The rooms were more than amazing too and very comfortable. Concierge were brilliant everyday, even to the last day when we were leaving Troy was so helpful in helping us with our uber. The paradox was the icing on the cake to an extremely memorable holiday! Thank you so so much!

What can I say this place is fantastic. The staff were so welcoming, really put themselves out to help us from the moment we arrived. As it was our anniversary it was a nice surprise we had a hand written card & bottle of bubbles put in our room & we had a high tea at the hotel too & we were delivered a special cake. When we left the concierge even helped our uber driver load our bags in our car. From start to finish couldn’t have asked for a better experience & I’m sure we’ll be back in the future when visiting the area.
