Paradox Sydney Function Rooms
The Lady Fairfax Room -Georgian Style Dining & Meeting Space
Awash in natural light from stunning Georgian-style windows overlooking Pitt Street, the Lady Fairfax Room is available daily for private events after 12pm. The space can accommodate up to 85 guests for private dining and is perfect for cocktail receptions and networking events, product launches, high teas, seminar presentations, and either corporate or social private dinners and celebrations. The room can be divided to create a more intimate space for smaller groups when required.
The Sir Warwick Fairfax Room - Initimate Heritage Boardroom
The Sir Warwick Fairfax Room – an intimate meeting space, elegantly appointed boardroom with rich timber finishes, offering a warm and professional atmosphere. With a seating capacity of up to 200 people in a theatre-style configuration, or 96 people in a cabaret setup, this versatile space is ideal for large conferences, presentations, workshops, and seminars. The room is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and can be customized to meet the specific needs of your event. This spacious room can be divided into three individual sections, providing you with adaptable spaces tailored to your needs. The room opens onto a pre-function area, perfect for catering, registration, or networking, and benefits from an abundance of natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere. Ideal for conferences, training days, exhibitions, and even private dinners, the Marble Room offers both sophistication and functionality. When booked alongside the Press Room, the entire conference floor is available exclusively for your event, offering a complete and private venue for large-scale conferences, breakout sessions, or confidential meetings.
Lower Ground Floor
Lower Ground Floor conference and event space – A Bright and Versatile Space, the lower ground floor combines the Marble Room, Press Room and Pre-Function Area - creating a spacious and adaptable area, capable of accommodating 200+ guests in a variety of configurations. The Pre-Function area is filled with natural light, providing a refreshing break area from the conference setting and adds a vibrant atmosphere to any event. Ideal for conferences or seminars requiring breakout sessions, in addition to any trade booth or exhibitior requirements.
Transition seamlessly between work sessions to a relaxed space for food and beverage options and formal or informal gatherings in the evening.
Access to the space can be managed for both external guests and those staying in the hotel.

We had the best stay as a family with 2 young kids. Service was impeccable from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, with thoughtful touches to help us celebrate our anniversary. The room was pristine and cosy, a great size and well laid-out, with a beautiful marble bathroom. Buffet breakfast was soo good! We loved it so much. Thank you!

“Home” for the past two weeks. Such a comfortable hotel with genuinely friendly staff. Very hotelier in the best way. They made me feel at home every time I returned late after a long day. They were always accommodating to my requests. The guy Misfa (not sure if I got the name right) from Lady Fairfax recognized that I had been staying with them for two weeks, and even gave me a takeaway coffee on my last day. It’s the little things that make a stay memorable. ☕️ loving this place

We stayed here for two nights in August and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, the rooms were excellent, and everything exceeded our expectations. The standout was the exceptional service. A special thank you to Michael at reception, who went above and beyond to help us with every request, no matter how big or small. His friendly and professional attitude made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so memorable. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paradox Sydney. The staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived until we checked out. Everyone, from the reception team to the breakfast staff, was genuinely welcoming, friendly and especially kind to our children. Service was always quick, and the elevators were fast, which made getting around the hotel very convenient. The only downside was the room we were assigned. It was located directly opposite the exit of the spa, which is open 24 hours. We were told that this room had been chosen because it was “away from the noise,” but unfortunately that wasn’t our experience. We were too exhausted after travelling to request a room change, so we stayed. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay. The excellent service and warm hospitality really stood out, and we would happily stay here again.

Right in the middle of Sydney cbd so perfect if youre exploring. Beautiful building, the rooms are very standard...not alot of personality if youre after a romantic getaway! Clean, great water pressure and bath was roomy enough. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately we were overlooking the development site and awoke early to machinery, and felt there wasnt much privacy.
