This weekend was an amazing one. Staying at the Pier One is a great experience. We felt very comfortable and welcoming. The puppy package is convenient, and if you ask ours, couldn't be more happy, 5 ⭐️. The staff are friendly and helpful. For us, it's the best place to spend an unforgettable time with our puppy. The dog meals are very good. Thank you for a beautiful weekend! We can't wait for the next one.

Not our first time staying here, always warm greeting, pleasant and attentive concierge. But this time I have to really acknowledge the fabulous service we received from Alex on the concierge desk. What an absolute asset to this already great hotel, he is and will be an absolute treasure to any organisation and should be really considered for future promotion and award. Nick the morning manager was absolutely fantastic very attentive making our breakfast better than usual, also great to hear he knows few words in Polish. Both a great new addition to the Pier one staff can’t wait to be back.

Beautiful heritage property, but severe staffing shortages compromise the experience. the hotel excels in its physical assets, the waterside location is incredible, and the maritime heritage architecture gives the property a unique, boutique charm. Unfortunately, the service delivery did not match the premium price tag. The Service Breakdowns: Zero Porter Support: There was a distinct lack of bell desk support. Upon arrival and departure, no one was available to assist with luggage, forcing me to haul heavy bags up the entrance stairs and out to the vehicle myself. Kitchen Delay/Fulfillment: The dining service dropped the ball as well. I ordered an egg dish at breakfast ahead of an early morning flight. After waiting for 30 minutes, it was clear the kitchen had completely forgotten it or the wait staff firgot to order it. The Saving Grace: The front desk was being held together by a phenomenal Filipina receptionist. She was highly efficient, deeply helpful, and doing her absolute best but she appeared to be working entirely on her own, managing front house operations solo. Takeaway: Management needs to address their staffing shortages immediately. If the hotel aims to operate on a skeleton crew, implementing automated self-check-in kiosks would at least relieve the front desk bottleneck and free up personnel to assist guests. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than Pier One. From start to finish, everything was seamless, professional and beautifully executed. A very special thank you to Jen, who was exceptional throughout the entire planning process and made us feel supported every step of the way. We'd also like to thank Alex, Nick, Sergio, Sandy and their teams for their outstanding hospitality, attention to detail and service throughout our wedding celebrations and stay. The food was incredible, the venue was breathtaking, and every member of staff made us and our guests feel genuinely cared for. We have received so many compliments from our guests about the venue, food, atmosphere and service. We are incredibly grateful to the entire Pier One team for making our wedding so memorable. Fun harbor accommodations with an excellent bar! We stayed 2 nights here and really enjoyed the harbor views, staying right on the water was extremely exciting. We only wish it was warmer while we were there so we could use their harbor pool! What a cool idea! We walked the Sydney Harbor Bridge from the hotel which was a good 1hr walk and worth the views. Beds were fine, and the water pressure was low in the shower but it still got hot which is all I care about. Staff were very friendly and room service came quickly. There was a conference going on while we were there so the lobby was often busy with people which added to the atmosphere of the space. Easy to get to most attractions nearby and an easy place to get an uber if you need to go further.
