This is the second time we have stayed here prior to picking up a motorhome nearby for our holiday. Lovely clean room with a comfortable bed. Close to the train line, restaurants and shops. Great value for money, we'd definitely stay here again.

VERY disappointed with the food. 1. Ordered a bacon, cheese & garlic bread tasted like it was left out overnight. 2. Ordered a Steak, Cheese & Pepper pie. Certainly wasn't made on premises, extremely bland and "commercial", had better tasting pies from the freezer section of Woolies. The gravy was watery and tasted like gravox in a cup of lukewarm water. 3. Ordered a Sticky Date Pudding, tasteless, dry, miniscule. Another thing ordered in, obviously from a commercial food kitchen. Appears that Caringbah Inn doesn't employ chefs, just people that can open boxes of pre-made frozen rubbish and then reheat said items. Definitely a place to avoid if you're after honest pub grub. I won't be back until they seriously pull their fingers out, it's not hard to make a homemade pie or sticky date. The signs were there though...a Saturday lunchtime crowd of about 6.

Very down to earth place with a great setup for watching bands on the stage. We saw Rock Rhapsody who were great. Plastic glasses on a Saturday night, but it's all good.

After randomly arriving at Caringbah Inn from Qld after trailing wife’s auspices for interstate function was initially SO shocked to be at the address I last frequented whilst Midnight Oil were still rising in the charts. Expecting a ‘80s bed lice ridden evening of horrors I was SO proven wrong! Room was decently upgraded comfortable and I got 4 beers tickets from Rhys, thx Rhys! Aside from being do pleasantly surprised by the com it now turns out Cockroaches have also wized up on their piss…alongside their cats piss New taps Balter XPA now proudly sits!!

Food was great for the price point. Service is terrible, basic hi and bye with no upsell. Venue standards needs a lot of work, beer garden is always ignored everytime i come no staff member comes inside you can sit in there for two hours plus and no one checks , table talkers or a what’s on would be great in the beer garden. Venue lack a lot of atmosphere compared to the Highfield. Waited 15 mins for a jug and had to go to the bar as me&u wasn’t working and ordered the steak and wasn’t even asked how it was cooked by Tom the server ! Last time i will come here management and staff are rude and incompetent.
