The Montague (Downstairs)
Montague Hotel is a more casual area when compared to Harriets. Our recently renovated space can be separated into two areas with both being semi private. The space can be set up in a variety of styles and is frequently booked for birthday celebrations, post wedding celebrations and corporate gatherings.
Harriet's (Upstairs)
Step into Harriet’s - our brand new, beautifully designed upstairs venue, ideal for large-scale events with a bit of flair. With exclusive use, you’ll have the run of the space: a dedicated bar, flexible layout, and curated zones for lounging, mingling, and celebrating. Perfect for milestone birthdays, private parties, or corporate functions, Harriet’s delivers a fully tailored experience. Enjoy bespoke canapés, premium drinks, and seamless service—all set in a space that balances elegance with ease.
Harriets has a Private DIning room that can seat 20 guests with its own bar access and a TV. A terrace area that can host up to 40 guests in a covered space with open frontage. The main areas of Harriets is perfect for cocktail or seated events.
Live music, entertainment or DJ? Go for it. Harriet’s was made for nights that start strong and end with a dance floor moment.

Let’s start, on Thursday (8/1) We came back again for a very early dinner and ordered the same meals, and the improvement was amazing. Everything was spot on this time. The service was excellent — very polite, welcoming, and friendly from the moment we arrived. The venue was clean, tidy, and had a really nice atmosphere with a great vibe. The food was top-notch. The Chicken Parmi🤤was full of flavour with plenty of sauce and perfectly melted mozzarella. The Ribeye😋 was cooked exactly as requested (medium), juicy, and cooked beautifully. Compliments to the chef. This is also a great place to bring the family for a feed — whether you’re coming on your own, as a couple, or with the whole family, it suits everyone. The total was around $72, which we found very fair and reasonable for the quality of food and service. We were more than happy to pay that for such a great meal. I honestly think more of the Marrickville community (and people from further afield) should come and check this place out — just make sure you come hungry 😄

Reasonably priced food that’s actually yum and good quality. Staff are friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is awesome. Good music that isn’t so loud that you can’t hear people when conversing, TV screens everywhere with a variety of sport playing 24/7. Beautiful restaurant upstairs (yet to try)

We had a beautiful lunch at thia hotel in the heart of Marrickville. We ordered THe Full Monty Burger and the Herb Crumbed Silver Dory. Both were generous portions, the fish was perfectly crumbed, the thick cut fries were nicely seasoned. The burger and fries were very tasty. Xompluments to the chef but also the friendly professional service. Thank you we will be coming back!

Great to have this hotel back up and running and serving great pub food. The service was excellent and our large group of 19 was seated without an problem. The dining area is modern and clean. All the food was cooked well - espexially the rib eye. We will be back to try the Sunday Roast! Highly recommended!

Solid spot for pub food, for the price you pay it’s slightly on the smaller side, but the weeknight specials make up for it. Schnitty on point and the service is top notch. They also have live music which adds to the atmospheres
