Reviews for The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney

We loved our stay at The Sebel Quay West Suites. The apartment was well maintained and clean, and spacious enough to accommodate a family of four easily. We all loved the pool, the views and Happy Hour. Check-in and out was efficient and friendly. Given we were staying in the busy Christmas period the wait for the elevators was faster than expected. The location is excellent to explore The Rocks, Circular Quay and Botanical Gardens. An easy walk up to shopping precinct and light rail to Darling Harbour. We would happily recommend other people to stay here.

I so wanted to give this a 5 but becasue of how NYE was handled its a 4. The rooms are great so big and comfortable. I loved being able to see the city through the large windows. The view from the 23rd floor is incredible it really is special. The location is great around a 5 min walk to circular Quay. Its def easier to come and go from Gloucester Street as it has direct access especially when meeting ubers/taxis etc. I didnt find the service to be that friendly but it was efficient. NYE I really wanted to book a harbour room but I couldn't afford the prices for NYE so decided to watch from the 23rd floor. We received a letter from reception regarding what time we could access the 23rd floor and it was stated there would be no queuing up on the 23rd floor and that the lifts would only work 30 mins before the start time to each fireworks. This was rubbish there were people in the queue from 8.15pm and again from 11pm. Also a shame we couldn't stay up there as there were multiple events going on in the harbour that it would have been nice to see. If I ever came again I would make sure I could book a harbour facing room.

What a mixed bag this was! Great view from our 23rd floor room, which was more of an apartment, really. The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished with a couple of minor flaws - like the bin, hot water pressure and the air-con. Access to the hotel lobby via someone else's car park elevator dampened the arrival experience somewhat but staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great - it's a 10 minute walk to the Rocks and Circular Quay and about 20 minutes to the Town Centre. Light rail option makes this super easy.

We booked for the pool views and were not disappointed! The pool and spa on level 23 have absolutely breathtaking views of the Harbour and Opera House—such a memorable spot to relax and enjoy as a family. The rooms were spacious, clean, and perfect for families, with plenty of room to spread out and the sofa bed already made up on arrival. Everything was well-stocked (coffee machine with ciffee pods, tea, milk, and sugar) and replenished daily, which made our stay really convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and we loved that we could still use the facilities after check-out. With a late flight, being able to enjoy the pool, gym, sauna and showers while our bags were safely stored made a huge difference for us and the kids. Pool towels were provided, which was a big help with little ones in tow. The staff were friendly and great with communication before and during our stay. The only slight challenge was the walk from Circular Quay train, as the area near The Rocks has some stairs and uphill sections. With luggage, it’s much easier to take the lift near the Harrison Street car park entrance (a great tip for families). Overall, this hotel was family-friendly, convenient, and offered unbeatable views. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it for anyone travelling with kids.

We had a really lovely time at the Sebel with our two young kids; Esra and all the hotel staff were very accomodating, and the restaraunt catered for all our kids requests. The pool and rooms and were nice enough and incredible views. For the price and location a very good option!
