Room: we booked a Premium One King Bedroom City View Apartment. The view was of nearby high rises, with an opening to the east towards Balmain. Bathroom included a tub and walk in shower, and a very well-lit sink area. Personally I found the toilet position somewhat cramped, but I guess the lay out of the room left few options for that. Air Conditioning took a bit of figuring out, but worked well after that, although it was a challenge to keep the bedroom and lounge area a similar temperature. The kitchen is fairly typical for a high-rise kitchen unit like this. It was moderately well stocked, and everything worked as it should. Breakfast: you could choose the small buffet (cereal/yogurt/muesli options, plus some bread, cheese and cold cuts), and/or order off their menu. I tried their Signature Breakfast, and it was a very good and generous serving of eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns. They can custom make you a coffee, or you can pour one yourself from the machine. Pool deck: they’ve got an indoor pool, which while nice, would be outstanding if it was outside, because the view of Sydney Harbour and the North Shore from the small outdoor viewing deck next to it is utterly amazing (don’t miss it, especially at night) Elevators: once you sort out which ones are for the hotel and which are for the private residences, you’ll be fine and will rarely wait any longer than a minute or 2 for a lift. Location: the hotel’s located on Gloucester St, which is a small, quiet street which dead ends right in front of the hotel (perfect for Uber and taxi pick up’s and drop offs). You’re in the Rocks here, so there’s lots of places to eat, pubs, fast food and so on within 10 minutes walk if the hotel. You can be at Circular Quay in about 8 minutes by foot for easy access to Sydney’s very impressive train and ferry system.

From the USA, Had a wonderful stay! Just the two of us in a one bedroom suite with a view. The location was perfect for sightseeing, within walking distance to the wharf, transportation restaurants and shopping The hotel staff made us feel at home. Suite was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed as we cooked breakfast. I highly recommend it. Service overall with front desk courteous, helpful, and how quickly the staff attended to any issues. Suite was clean, with fresh linens, and functional shower and kitchen. Amenities had fast Wi-Fi, clean swimming pools, and spas. Their concierge was specialized in arranging transportation, dining reservations, tours, and unique, often complex requests. Overll it was Location Location Location.

We loved our stay at The Sebel Quay West Suites. The apartment was well maintained and clean, and spacious enough to accommodate a family of four easily. We all loved the pool, the views and Happy Hour. Check-in and out was efficient and friendly. Given we were staying in the busy Christmas period the wait for the elevators was faster than expected. The location is excellent to explore The Rocks, Circular Quay and Botanical Gardens. An easy walk up to shopping precinct and light rail to Darling Harbour. We would happily recommend other people to stay here.

This was a really pleasant stay and the room was so spacious! The only thing that would have made it better would have been a small carton of milk to make a cup of coffee and some water. A la carte breakfast was also lovely and staff were pleasant. I would stay again.

Had a great stay here. We had a group booking and everyone was well looked after, from the car parking to the swimming pool on the 23rd floor. We had a beautiful view of the harbour - this photo has to be on your radar
