Reviews for The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney

We loved our stay at The Sebel Quay West Suites. The apartment was well maintained and clean, and spacious enough to accommodate a family of four easily. We all loved the pool, the views and Happy Hour. Check-in and out was efficient and friendly. Given we were staying in the busy Christmas period the wait for the elevators was faster than expected. The location is excellent to explore The Rocks, Circular Quay and Botanical Gardens. An easy walk up to shopping precinct and light rail to Darling Harbour. We would happily recommend other people to stay here.

We booked for the pool views and were not disappointed! The pool and spa on level 23 have absolutely breathtaking views of the Harbour and Opera House—such a memorable spot to relax and enjoy as a family. The rooms were spacious, clean, and perfect for families, with plenty of room to spread out and the sofa bed already made up on arrival. Everything was well-stocked (coffee machine with ciffee pods, tea, milk, and sugar) and replenished daily, which made our stay really convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and we loved that we could still use the facilities after check-out. With a late flight, being able to enjoy the pool, gym, sauna and showers while our bags were safely stored made a huge difference for us and the kids. Pool towels were provided, which was a big help with little ones in tow. The staff were friendly and great with communication before and during our stay. The only slight challenge was the walk from Circular Quay train, as the area near The Rocks has some stairs and uphill sections. With luggage, it’s much easier to take the lift near the Harrison Street car park entrance (a great tip for families). Overall, this hotel was family-friendly, convenient, and offered unbeatable views. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it for anyone travelling with kids.

What a mixed bag this was! Great view from our 23rd floor room, which was more of an apartment, really. The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished with a couple of minor flaws - like the bin, hot water pressure and the air-con. Access to the hotel lobby via someone else's car park elevator dampened the arrival experience somewhat but staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great - it's a 10 minute walk to the Rocks and Circular Quay and about 20 minutes to the Town Centre. Light rail option makes this super easy.

We were in Sydney to celebrate my wife's birthday and also to see Oasis concert. It was a memorable stay, the view from our 2 Bedrooms Harbor View was unbeatable. Walking distance to the Rocks, Observatory Hills, and Barangaroo area. Hospitality could be improve. Even though I mentioned in the reservation that the occasion of stay was my wife's bday; we did not get a greeting card or anything.

I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay at The Sebel Quay West Sydney. From the very beginning, the communication and assistance provided by Katy Mac, the Service Manager, was exceptional. She was extremely helpful and ensured that everything went smoothly for our arrival. Throughout our stay, the staff and the hotel itself made a fantastic impression. I booked a Harbour View room, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel’s location is also excellent—very close to public transport and just a short walk to Circular Quay. The only downside was that the exit to Harrington Street was under maintenance, and the lift was not in service. This meant we had to take a longer route that involved a steep incline, which was a bit inconvenient. If the Harrington Street lift had been available, our experience would have been flawless. That being said, several staff members went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I was especially impressed by Mr. Benjamin, who worked tirelessly from the moment we arrived. He was highly professional, attentive, and even ensured our breakfast was delivered promptly to our room. From the restaurant team, Ms. Kita and Ms. Ann provided warm and attentive service, making sure we had an outstanding dining experience. At the reception, Thomas also left a very positive impression with his excellent service. Overall, despite the minor inconvenience with the lift, the exceptional hospitality of the staff made our stay truly enjoyable. I would definitely return to this hotel again.
