MV Vagabond Spirit
The MV Vagabond Spirit is the proud flagship of our fleet. Measuring 32 metres in length with a height of 12 metres and 9 metre beam (width), her sheer size and sophisticated clean lines will impress any crowd as she approaches your wharf. Enjoy spacious indoor dining decks with warm timber and cool stainless finishes, large wrap-around windows for unobstructed harbour views and a stylish mix of chairs, lounges and banquette seating. She's a true modern classic, perfect for any occasion. A fully air-conditioned, 3-deck catamaran with spacious dining and entertainment decks and generous outdoor spaces. The Spirit is normally hired out to much larger groups at a higher cost and is a significantly larger vessel with a capacity of 300 PAX. As such, we can comfortably accommodate your event on a single deck with plenty of space with plenty of space for you and your guests.

Thoroughly enjoyed the three hour cruise in Sydney Harbour with Vagabond Cruises. Of course, Sydney harbour views are so stunning. The live Jazz performers were excellent. Super smooth voice and wonderful mastery of the guitar, not too loud so you can still have conversations. The food was a buffet - slow cooked beef, chicken, prawns, natural oysters, salmon and delish salads and veggies - yum. We were on the old boat and we could open the windows and get the sea breeze in. There was a deck out the front and an upstairs room and deck out the back - so plenty of room. Staff were young, friendly and competent. Price is great for the length of time you are out enjoying the views, food and music. Cruised along quite slowly. A suggestion would be, if you could go a bit faster, is there scope to head to the heads and or wander under ANZAC bridge as well? I think that would be amazing. So very worth while.

Thank you to Vagabond Cruises for the best 60th birthday Jazz lunch cruise - the Jazz band was AMAZING and the staff, food and ambiance could not have been better. My guests LOVED every minute of it and the only complaint was "The Trip was too short" ... they did not want the party to end. Thank you RITU for your incredible service, such a pleasure to deal with you and your beautiful staff on the boat - a special thanks to Mishy who found a way to ensure the cruise was magic to the last detail.

An absolute brilliant day. The weather was on our side, a beautiful day on Sydney Harbour. There was 13 of us we had 2 tables right at the entrance which suited our group. The food was delicious and fresh, highly recommend. Half of us got the premium drink package and the other half got the soft drink package. Brilliant service by all staff members. Highly recommended 👌🏽

Very disappointed with our experience with Vagabond Cruise on June 7, 2026. We arrived early and started lining up at around 7:45 PM for our 8:00 PM cruise. The boat arrived on time, and we saw staff cleaning, so we assumed they were preparing for passengers to board. However, more than 10 minutes past 8:00 PM, the boat simply left without any announcement or explanation. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of communication. A simple notification or update would have helped, but we were left standing there wondering what had happened. It wasn't just our family—there were heaps of other people lined up, confused and frustrated as well. I had booked 5 tickets, including dinner, because we wanted to enjoy a meal while watching Vivid. Instead, we were left hungry and disappointed, especially since it was already quite late for my family. I am requesting a refund for the food and service that we were unable to receive due to circumstances that were never explained to us. Thankfully, Legend Cruises accommodated us on their boat, but it was not the evening we had planned or paid for. The experience caused unnecessary stress and disappointment. Sadly, this experience means we will never book with Vagabond again. To anyone considering this cruise, I would advise caution. Based on our experience, poor communication and customer service turned what should have been a special family night into a very disappointing one.

We attended the 8:00pm Vivid Sydney Harbour Cruise on 7 June with Vagabond Cruises, it was a fantastic way to enjoy the Vivid festival. The upper deck offered an incredible vantage point to enjoy the Vivid light displays without battling the crowds onshore. Seeing Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and Harbour Bridge illuminated from the water was just beautiful and made for some amazing photo opportunities that I couldn’t achieve on land. The crew were friendly and welcoming, ensuring that everyone was well looked after throughout the evening. The food was enjoyable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and there was plenty of space on the viewing decks to take in the sights. The 1.5-hour cruise was the perfect length. I would happily recommend to both locals and visitors looking for something special during the festival. A wonderful evening on Sydney Harbour – highly recommended!
