People of VenueNow: Jacob Breadnam

Jacob Breadnam has played a key role in building one of VenueNow’s newest offerings - the Supplier Marketplace. As Business Development Executive, Jacob joined the team to lead the supplier side of the platform, working closely with caterers, production companies, stylists, photographers, entertainers and more to bring together a curated network of trusted event suppliers.

From onboarding suppliers to helping shape how they showcase their services on VenueNow, Jacob has been instrumental in growing the marketplace and giving event organisers an easier way to discover the people behind great events.

More recently, the launch of Supplier Search has taken this even further - allowing organisers to not only find venues, but also search for the suppliers they need to bring their events to life, all in one place.

Now, alongside continuing to support the growth of the supplier marketplace, Jacob also works closely with venue partners - from pubs and restaurants to large group venues, helping them maximise their visibility on VenueNow and connect with even more event organisers.

Jacob’s journey into the events industry actually began from the attendee side, driven by a desire to connect, learn and build meaningful relationships.

“I started attending events in 2022 as a means to network and create connections for the business that I was running at the time,” Jacob shares.

Through those early experiences, he had the opportunity to attend some incredible events, sparking a deeper interest in how the industry works behind the scenes. While Jacob gained experience along the way through small freelance projects - helping sell event sponsorship packages and creating content for events, joining VenueNow marked his first true step into the industry.

“I got the privilege of going to some pretty incredible events very early on in my life, which inspired me to explore the industry as a whole,” he says.
