Simply put, this hotel is in a dire need of renovation. The carpets, the window blinds, the showers and everything is really ran down Breakfast was okay, not more, and by the time my coffee got there, I was almost through. Park view from my room was nice and the hotel is in a good location

Just checked in to stay 1 night. First impression is great location and staff were friendly. Staying in room 212 and 214 and as we entered level 2 the smell of the carpet is off putting. House keeping have dirty towels dumped in piles down the hallway which is not appealing or very professional. Entering the room and sadly didn’t meet expectation. Bathrooms are very outdated, showers very low pressure making it hard to shower and the shower curtain was mouldy. Floor has rubbish under the table from previous guest in room 212. The gym area smells like feet, pool area furniture tired and not looked after and the pool was dirty. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star accomodation. If you get a great price may be worth a stay otherwise I wouldn’t reccomend.

The only issue I have is there were no power points near the bed in my room. My friend uses a CPAP machine which we were only able to plug in thanks to a small extension cord we got from reception. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The accessible room we were allocated did not meet the requirements for a disabled person. Lots of handrails near the toilet but nothing to hold onto when you get out of the shower. Nowhere to put the towel within reach. Flushing the toilet takes the strength of Sampson. Not enough flat surfaces to hold toothpaste, toothbrush etc. O ne bed was too high for a disabled person To get into. The window which had a miserable view of the roof and the cooling towers was very dirty. It’s sad to think that disabled people get shoved away in a sub standard room . Apparently they don’t deserve to be treated like a “normal “ person. All in all our stay was a disappointment . Anna Cooper

A fabulous location to stay within walking distance of the CBD. Beautiful parks around. Breakfast buffet, although very busy during high holiday periods, is very good with a huge variety. Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are dated and need a revamp. Amanda, the duty manager on checkout, was amazing and went above and beyond in making your checkout smooth and quick. The Breakfast staff this morning were very attentive and accommodating.
