Truly fabulous hotel! Location, super quiet, heavenly beds, with great pillows .. well thought out, excellent mini with lots of local stuff available, really everything you need without making a fuss about it .. funky decor with a seriously excellent design ideas. Also dined at monster.. again really excellent! We were late night guests so opted for the less formal area.. top draw service, and my food was fabulous. My only sadness was I wasn’t there longer !! Would like to stay in a lake view with bath.. Next time!!

The rooms are stylish if a little worn around the edges. We had problems with our shower door leaking, and the bathroom door was really heavy to pull open. Our small room was great but we ended up hopping over our suitcase on the floor.

Stayed at the Nishi in Canberra for 1 night and was severely disappointed with the customer service experience. Heads up, if you're planning to stay you could potentially set the fire alarm off when opening the bathroom door after a hot shower session for less than 30 seconds. Apologies aside when staff was given feedback, the staff was more inclined to advise its not a requirement to give future guests a heads up on the sensitive fire alarm system instead of taking the feedback on board. As a 5 star hotel I would've expected the staff to acknowledge the inconvenience caused before providing us with a condescending explanation that the "fire alarms are for the safety of the guests speel". Anyways sadly, won't be staying at place anytime soon, which is a shame as we quite liked the quirky ambience and the location of the place and we travel fair bit for work.

I had a wonderful stay at Ovolo Nishi Apartment in Canberra. The building looks great from the outside, and the interior design is unique and artistic. My one-bedroom apartment was spacious, modern, and had a big balcony with a beautiful mountain view. I also liked the E-Bikes in the lobby from ShareABike Canberra. Renting them was easy and very convenient. The eco-living concept is nice, but there’s no air conditioning, which might not work for everyone. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would recommend it!

5 stars +++! Staff went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have been happier with our beautiful upgrade to a meandering atrium suite. The comfiest bath ever!! Absolutely stunning hotel, great food, excellent vibes. Thank you also for the late checkout to accommodate our late flight! 🤍
