A one night stop in Canberra. The hotel is comfortable and has the typical upmarket international allure. It is in a great location, close to shops and the lake. Much to our surprise we had the presidential suite, a two story "room" larger than our own unit in Sydney. We made ourselves comfortable, but I did go back to reception to verify the booking. The mistake was noted and we were "downgraded" to a normal room. At all times staff remained professional and friendly. Room is comfortable, the only criticism being that pillows were too soft. It would have been nice to have firmer once available. Definitely a hotel to return to.

Stayed 18-21 July 23 for work in Canberra. Have stayed several times before in 2021 for work. This time was great also. Smooth check in and check out, staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and beds are very comfortable and are serviced daily. Added bonus, I was able to borrow an umbrella from reception when I went for a walk into the city one night when it was raining lightly. I'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel is well located with walkable distance from good restaurants and amenities. The hotel rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy but this hotel does feel quite old and does require an uplift to match some of the newer hotels at similar price point. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Overall a really good experience.

It's located at a quite convenient location, great quiet but also not far from the main street. We only spent a night here as a stopover to the snow. We had a decent room with a park view. The buffet breakfast was good, fresh omelette made to order and great coffee from the barista. The fruit selection was limited, possibly due to the season.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Rooms nice and large, plenty of space and clean. The restaurant (RED Salt) is very nice. There is an entrance to the casino right inside the lobby.
